its a unusual angle oh gee, i like lots of things including...he has a very elegant air without trying, his features are very classical and work well together, his attitude on videos is professional and sophisticated. i just think he is unique. i like that in people. so i guess it comes out in the models you admire and respect

I really like your insight. You got everything I thought pointed out and personally to me, he's sort of like an Adonis because his look is very refined and well his features are very stunning plus his killer side profile (which is one of the best). Most models have that conceited type of vibe (but the fashion world is very superficial) and he was mostly normal and was well thought as he spoke in his interviews where some might say he was kinda cocky in one interview but it showed that his speech pattern was very confident in my opinion.

I tend to draw towards models who stay grounded a lot and I believe when he started out, his dad had accompanied him to a lot of his modelling gigs which doesn't happen a lot because some of the young faces that start out are from other countries and aren't used to being by themselves and they get caught up in the partying lifestyle since it's "glamorous" by the influence of others.

ah, yes. thats the side of the business that is unfortunate. having a good time is different from putting yourself in danger or making something of yourself that isnt the true you, because it comes back and bites you in the end. its a shame that people think they have to do that, as if their ownself isnt sufficient, when more often then not, if not always...it is. i have two truly favorite models out of the few i like and they are both well grounded,polite and mature. him being family based is even more impressive. and haha its funny that you mention adonis. as he has a profile that is similar to michelangelo's david. and oddly enough thats not an exaggeration!

Well I'm a sucker for nice profiles ! I do see the "David" resemblance since he's basically known as a masterpiece haha. Speaking of that, didn't Ryan do an editorial where he was shot by Mert and Marcus looking like David ? I think besides Ryan, the models I personally love for their side profiles are mainly females like Rianne Ten Haken, Darla Baker and Ali Michael. There are some male models that I really admire like Evandro Soldati and Matthias Lauridsen, but most male models to me never really stood out like Ryan did since his face is very handsome and pretty much looks like a Roman God.

Hey! New to the Ryan Taylor fanclub although I don't think of myself as extreme as you guys (he is super duper handsome )! I thought it was really cool how all of you guys admire his work (and appearantly his nose?) since I believe he did quit and was stated to move onto acting and school from what I remember. I know it's sad that he moved on but one things for sure, if he goes into acting, he'll definately become a rising star that could kick Robert Pattinson/Edward Cullen's butt (although Ryan's my ideal look for Edward ).

Aww thanks ! Hmm... I still wonder about the possibility if he ever wants to get back into modelling (although I highly doubt it) since he was great on the runway and wonderfully photographed in editorials and campaigns.

Compared to when he had first started, he was very young and looked so at ease during first season which was amazing. With all of the seasons he had done, you can notice how he face became more refined as well as his physique because he was quite lanky when he became a familiar face on the runways.

I really like the fact that he has a more classic type of look from the '50s or '60s yet can look so modern too and those cheekbones and jawline! Hollywood should taking notice of him .

Word ! SS.10 men's season is coming soon. I guess we'll have to wait and see because a part of me does have that tiny hope that he'll comeback for a bit but then again, he's probably moved on and for the better too.
