LuNo Posted February 2, 2008 Share Posted February 2, 2008 Real Madrid president Calderon presses Casillas for lifetime dealReal Madrid president Ramon Calderon has informed the agent of Iker Casillas that he wants to tie the goalkeeper to a lifetime contract.Calderon made the proposal to Gines Carvajal after discussing a similar deal for Raul - the agent represents both Real legends.The Real president knows Casillas has a contract until 2011, but wants to reward him for his excellent form this season. Carvajal has thanked Calderon for the offer, but maintains that at 26, Casillas is too young to be thinking about locking himself into a lifetime agreement.Calderon, however, won't give up his bid as he is eager to avoid the controversy of 2005 when Casillas came close to quitting Real as they struggled to reach terms on a contract extension at the time.
