Katie Holmes: City Shopping Spree!

Katie Holmes holds her daughter Suri, 2 1/2, as they leave the theater after a performance in NYC on Sunday.

Since moving to the city six months ago, Katie Holmes has reportedly spent a staggering $14 million in New York Page Six claimed.

“While ordinary city dwellers are cutting back, Mrs. Cruise has been valiantly doing her bit to boost our economy,” the magazine said. “We tally up a conservative estimate of her 24-week NYC spending spree, and crown her Manhattan’s Most Valued Shopper.”

Katie Holmes: Miu Miu Magnificent

Looking gorgeous in her brand new ad campaign, Katie Holmes is hoping that her likeness will help to boost sales for luxury brand Miu Miu this shopping season.

Shot by Mert & Marcus and released to People magazine, the former “Dawson’s Creek” cutie posed against a blazing sky and with her hand engulfed in fire for a few of the much-awaited campaign poses.

Talking about Katie, a statement from Miu Miu says that she “portrays a luminous icon radiating a sense of mystery and theatricality.”

“Katie Holmes joins the ever-expanding living history of Miu Miu inspirations, vital and modern individuals that shape and alter their surroundings through powerful grace.”

Katie Holmes Joins List of Presenters at SAG Awards

The lineup of stars scheduled to appear at Sunday’s 2009 Screen Actors Guild Awards in Los Angeles just got brighter: Katie Holmes has been added to the list.

The star – who recently completed a run in the Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's All My Sons – joins a roster of other newly-announced presenters including Amy Adams, Josh Brolin, James Franco, Taraji P. Henson, Emile Hirsch, Slumdog Millionaire stars Dev Patel and Freida Pinto, Evan Rachel Wood, Emily Blunt and Claire Danes.

The Screen Actors Guild, which hosts the annual awards honoring actors in film and TV, had previously announced the participation of Christina Applegate, Taye Diggs, Jon Hamm, John Krasinski and Amy Poehler, among others.

Watch the 15th Annual Screen Actor Guild Awards live Sunday, Jan. 25, on TNT and TBS at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
