cool Cult. not an easy one to learn

my 6 year old son loves palying wioth my guitar, yet his real talent seems to be the drums

I spent a tremendous amount of time with that instrument growing up. My parents also spent a sizable figure with all the private lessons. I think the pursuit of music must move hand in hand with psychological need. If music greatly enhances one's life, one should pursue it and continue to do so. Otherwise, it could unfortunately end up being a sunk cost with limited marginal utility. Thus an instrument with maximum complexity should be sought- instruments like piano and the violin have a very large range of movement and expression so even after when one devotes xxxx hours to it the physical and emotional investment in it will have a higher probability of generating steady if not growing returns.

Personally..I wish I spent that time differently.
