The stopper, who has been at the club since 2005, insists that he has even more desire to win Europe’s elite club competition and he is eyeing Champions League glory next season.Ramos has been excellent during the 2007/08 campaign, but insists he wants to go beyond La Liga and win club football’s greatest prize.“I have a great desire and that is to conquer the Champions League,” Ramos told Marca. “A player always has the desire and motivation to try and win titles which he has not won in the past. “That’s the great thing about football, you always get the chance to compete for honours and next season we return to the Champions League and we will try to win it.” The Spanish international also had a few words for Real’s latest signing Eziquiel Garay who arrives from Racing Santander. “He (Garay) is a great defender and anyone who comes here to do well will be welcomed in the best way,” concluded Ramos.
