During her appearance, Alicia discussed how she reacted to the tragic news of Kobe Bryant’s death hours before the ceremony began, and how she honored Kobe “in his house.” She also spoke about her self-titled album, which will be released on March 20, and why she decided the time was right to name an album after herself. Later on, she performed her new song, “Underdog.”
