AC Milan striker Ronaldo has already kicked off his preseason - in Rio de Janeiro.

The Brazil international ace has sent a message to Rossoneri fans, declaring: "I am massacring myself on the training pitch in order to return to Italy much stronger. I want to have a big preseason.

"I just had dinner with Kaka and he's told me he is staying with Milan."

Asked about Adriano's situation at Inter Milan, Ronaldo was adamant: "I know that Adriano has had his problems - the atmosphere at Milanello would do him good!"
