Ronaldo Weighs Into Capello

Ronaldo has taken a swipe at Fabio Capello claiming that the Real Madrid players no longer have any confidence in the the Italian coach and also aimed a barb at Hécto Cúper.

The AC Milan striker was reflecting on his time at the Bernabéu and aired his frustration at the lack of chances he was given under the current coach.

Since returning to Italy, the Brazilian has appeared to be happier and has rediscovered his goalscoring touch.

"There is no belief in Capello," Ronaldo said on Italian programme, Panorama. "He is a man in difficulties as he has demonstrated in his relations with the players.

"It is not the time for general trainers."

Ronaldo then turned his attention to Cúper, the coach who he has claimed forced him out of Internazionale.

"Cuper is even worse because Capello has a history to back him up at least. What has Cuper won?" Ronaldo said.

In a thoroughly frank interview, the former PSV and FC Barcelona forward reacted to criticism about his weight and about his passion for women.

"I like women a lot, but the most important one in my life is my mother Sonia," he explained.

"As for being overweight, one day I will pose nude for some photos to put an end to all these rumours."

Ronaldo slams Capello

Milan striker Ronaldo has claimed that Real Madrid's players do not have faith in coach Fabio Capello and criticised his general approach to administering the team.

"There is no belief in Capello," Ronaldo told Panorama in Italy. "He is a man in difficulties as he has demonstrated in his relations with the players.

"It is not the time for general trainers."

Madrid conceded the fastest goal in Champions League history against Bayern Munich on Wednesday evening as they went out of the competition 4-4 on the away goals rule.

Not content with slagging off one former boss, Ronaldo also took a shot at former Internazionale coach Hector Cuper, who he has said forced his exit from Serie A in the first place.

"Cuper is even worse because Capello has a history to back him up at least. What has Cuper won?" Ronaldo asked.

Cuper took Valencia to two consecutive UEFA Champions League finals, losing first to Real Madrid and then Bayern Munich.

He finished third and second in Serie A with Inter before being sacked and left Mallorca bottom of the table in his second stint with the Liga outfit last year.

The Brazil attacker also denied the almost constant speculation over the last two years that he is overweight.

"Sooner or later I will pose for naked photography to end all this talk on my obesity," he said.

Ronaldo omitted from Brazil squad

RIO DE JANEIRO, Brazil -- Ronaldo has been left out by Brazil again after coach Dunga named his squad for this month's friendlies against Chile and Ghana in Sweden.

Ronaldo, 30, has made a promising start at AC Milan after his 7.5 million euros move from Real Madrid, but his performances failed to persuade Dunga to call him up for the first time since the World Cup.

Dunga said: "We are watching and observing him and as soon as his performances interest us and he is near to his best, he will be selected."

The game against Chile will be in Gothenburg and the Ghana match is in Stockholm.

Ronaldinho, who has started only one match since Dunga replaced Carlos Alberto Parreira, was included in the squad alongside regulars including Kaka, Robinho, Diego, Elano and Gilberto Silva.

However, there was no place for Inter Milan striker Adriano who has been picked only once by Dunga.

The squad also includes uncapped right back Ilsinho and midfielder Josue. Both play for Brazilian champions Sao Paulo.

Brazil have played six matches under Dunga, suffering their first defeat against Portugal last month.

They thrashed Chile 5-0 in their last meeting in a World Cup qualifier in September 2005 and beat Ghana 3-0 in the second round at last year's World Cup.
