    Spearfishing for lobster in the Bahamas pushed me outside my comfort zone. At first, I struggled with the idea of it but began to open my mind to a different perspective thanks to my good friend perrinjames1 - this experience made me appreciate the responsibility that comes when sourcing our own food and the incredible ecosystem that sustains us. In a world where industrial fishing often takes far more than it gives back, the experience felt deeply intentional and respectful. More than anything, it left me with a greater appreciation for the ocean, its abundance and the importance of protecting her 🩵

    The ocean has a way of reminding you that you are both insignificant and deeply connected all at once. A few days ago I went out with apexoceandivers alexsharks_ & was lucky enough to swim with an oceanic manta ray, spotted dolphins and a whale shark! Three encounters I’ll never forget. Every moment felt like a gift, a glimpse into a world far older and wiser than our own. On World Ocean Day, I’m feeling grateful for the magic beneath the surface and hopeful that future generations will be able to experience it too 🩵
