October 1, 20204 yr Hey everyone, Neave Bozorgi here. Stopping by to share what Chandler and I are doing with your community and for your consideration. She and I are working together to create and share content through my Patreon page at a more consistent basis. I did a beach shoot with her last month that is on my page now, and a black and white set from 2017. I also feature a set from her camera roll under a section called roommate. The new set is going to be removed from the page tonight at midnight PST and become exclusive to subscribers of the Patreon page for free through a digital book I send out in a few days. The digital book will also contain photos she and I did from 2016 that I had never edited or released before. There is an ePub version of the book, and a printer-friendly PDF version for anyone who wants to print stuff. I will make a mention that none of the photos feature explicit nudity, only implied in some cases. The page is still in it's infancy (only been two months) There should be an alliance between content creators and people who want to see the content. I've seen how photographers over-charge and over-hype a page without caring about the models or business longevity, but there is an opportunity to work together in a way that can benefit everyone. So far, I have kept every promise I've made to my Patrons regarding content, and I run a different ship than most photographers who have started Patreons. In this case, Chandler is fully aware of my Patreon page and has gotten compensated for sharing her own content through roommate. I keep everything transparent and ethical with both the audience and the models. This is the case with every model I work with, and I can have access to any of them if I have the backing. Speaking of other models, I've also been talking to Gigi Paris and a few others about this project and creating new content exclusive to the Patreon page. As for the nudity, I understand that Chandler probably shys away from it since she's never tried it before, maybe that might change sometime in the future when she's comfortable. The decision is obviously hers. However, that is okay as long as there is regular creative content. Its a great initiative to ensure compensation for models and I'm looking forward to it. Having a platform that releases exclusive content behind a pay-wall is the same as running a magazine, so booking models for editorials would go through the same steps. So if a page has enough of a budget, they could book someone like Taylor Hill to do sets for the page (her agency rate is probably astronomical!). My point is though: if a magazine approaches a model's agency with a budget, a purpose, and a capable photographer/team, they will be considered. Not guaranteed that they would book, obviously it is up to the model to decide whether or not she'd like the job, but the conversation would happen. All of that to say: yes, down the line if the page is in a healthy place and has a budget, we could create the content we'd all like to see and have the budget to compensate the models/teams according to their standards. That would ensure exclusivity of the photoshoot for them as well, as only people who subscribe to that tier will be able to access it and it would also ensure a higher compensation than normal for the models. The biggest discouragement for models is photos getting leaked on the internet, so I'm trying to figure out the best way to share the work without having to put their comfort at risk. Once I figure that out I can make a more convincing appeal to them. Thank you for the suggestion it's definitely helpful.

January 1, 20214 yr Anybody who hasn't subbed to Neave Bozorgi's Patreon yet is seriously missing out on a lot of good stuff from Chandler. There is loads of stuff uploaded in the past 2 months and lots to come!
January 4, 20214 yr Happy New Year, everybody! I have been seriously considering subscribing to Neave's Patreon, I have been following him for quite some time and I think he's a brilliant photographer. However, I'm a little confused about the new tiers (last time I checked there were only two). I'm interested to know what has changed in terms of the philosophy since the Oct 1st announcement post and what has prompted the shift towards multiple different tiers? Was it feedback from Patrons or something else? Personally I'm only interested in all the Chandler content I can get. (And all the Gigi content, as well.) Does that mean I should go straight for the top level tier? What's different about it compared to the lower tiers? Don't get me wrong, $50 per month is a lot of money and I would like to find out exactly what it is I'm getting (and what I'm not going to get) before I splash out on my subscription. Anybody here who's already subscribed could maybe answer my questions? Neave, if you are reading this, maybe you could explain this to me? Perhaps my post could help others like me decide to subscribe. Thanks in advance!
January 4, 20214 yr The main meat and potatoes is seeing the pics that didn't make the cut. You can go for the lower tiers and then just upgrade when the models you like are that months feature. The VHS style video gives you a taste of what to expect from it as well.

January 6, 20214 yr Agreed. The October ebook featuring the old set from 2016 was the BEST. The latest shoot has severe basic instinct vibes and is the second best. Especially the behind the scenes video lasting over an hour. Top stuff! Totally worth it!!
