The evening’s events were hosted by Russian owner of Tach, Tatiana Anatoly, as well as fashion guru Lulu Kennedy. Thandie recently told UK’s InStyle how she fell in love with Ol. She shared, “He wrote a screenplay called In Your Dreams that I filmed in 1997. It’s very unusual to have writers around on set because directors don’t want them there. But they love having Ol around. He was on set every day and I fell madly in love with him.”

The 37-year-old actress picked up some swag from Comptoir des Cotonniers while she went out for some retail therapy. Thandie’s film, 2012, was recently named the highest grossing film in Bahrain’s history, the Gulf Daily News reports. “We always anticipated 2012 would be a big hit but we are delighted with its level of success, topping the biggest movies in recent years,” Mario Junior Haddad, the VP of sales and marketing at the film’s local distributor, said.
