Delizo Published: August 13, 2013 Brazilian-Japanese model Daniel Matsunaga doesn't need to have Pinoy blood or girlfriend to convince him to stay and work in the Philippines. In an interview with Bulletin Entertainment during the launch of Tokyo Tokyo’s three ramen flavors at the very first Tokyo Tokyo Ramen Bar in the TriNoma mall, Daniel said that he has just returned from his homeland where he visited family and friends. Apparently, the model touches base with them yearly. Still, he also loves it here in the Philippines, enough for him to keep coming back. He currently lives in Manila with his sister who is married to a Filipino. The Kapatid star acknowledges the support of his Filipino fans. In return, he strives to be closer to them by improving on his Tagalog with the help of a tutor. “I love the people here and they are always very nice to me and they received me really well. They gave me huge opportunity in my work,” added he, who is currently seen on TV5’s “Misibis Bay.” In his spare time, Daniel engages in activities like Muay Thai and football.
