On August 22, 1962, The Beatles took their first picture with Ringo as part of the band (he had just replaced Pete Best on drums) while they were rehearsing at the Cavern Club in Liverpool.

 

 

And also on August 22 but in 1969 they took their last ever set of pictures as a band, in Tittenhurst Park, John Lennon's residence in London.

 

 

I still find it incredible all they managed to achieve in merely 7 years of recording activity.

I always thought Yellow Submarine was 100% a McCartney song, but it turns out the melody of the verses is Lennon's!
