August 27, 201410 yr Author Emmys 2014: Aaron Paul's Speech Crashes Kind Campaign Site by Gina Carbone 8.25.2014 Yeah, b-tch! That Aaron Paul is about as wonderful as a person gets. The "Breaking Bad" star just won the 2014 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, and not only did he thank his fellow nominees; co-star Bryan Cranston; and show creator Vince Gilligan; he gave props to his gorgeous wife, Lauren Parsekian. "My wife -- my god, thank you for marrying me, thank you for dedicating your life to spread kindness around the world. We all appreciate it. If you guys don't know what she does, look up Kind Campaign. Do yourself and your children a favor - Kind Campaign. A lot of people were apparently inspired by Aaron's speech, since they went straight to the Kind Campaign site - and crashed it! (UPDATE: The site is live again!) It's a great problem to have, but all the people who wanted to learn more about the non-profit organization to help combat bullying now have to read "Service Temporarily Unavailable: The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later." You can head back to the site in a little bit, once the Emmy craze dies down, but here's a little bit more about the campaign from Lauren herself: http://youtu.be/8Sje0a1U7X0 news.moviefone.com

October 26, 201410 yr Author Just when you thought this story was over when Toys R Us removed Breaking Badfigures from their shelves due to a Florida Mom's Change.Org petition, a story that even Bryan Cranston commented on rather nicely, a new twist arrives. Fellow cohort of the show Aaron Paul, who was previously quiet about the controversy, chimed in shortly after Toys R Us caved, pulling the figures. First he went on a Twitter rant about the various figures that are still being sold at Toys R Us that are even more "objectable" in his eyes. Since then, Paul has made it his mission to return the Mezco Toys-made figures to shelves. To that end, he tweeted the link of the Change.Org counter petition that was started shortly after the one to remove caught on via news sites. As noted in my previous article, the petition at that time only had just over 5,000 signatures at the time). Since Paul tweeted the link, the petition has now garnered over 55,000 signatures, and as Paul himself noted is well over THREE TIMES (five times now) the amount of signatures acquired by the one that succeeded in getting the figures removed. The actor clearly has put the ball in TRU's court, as shown in the tweet (when the petition was at 30,000): Aaron Paul @aaronpaul_8 · Oct 24 Dear @ToysRUs, We have close to 30,000 signed on the petition, that is 3 times the amount that caused you to remove the toys. Talk to me. Ap www.theouthousers.com
