I know some piece about 1990's to share and I can add, that that one and some other "international" advertisements with Russian models in russian magazines etc in fact were "internal" only for the russian market.

Vintage russian magazines with them are still on sale on online marketplaces, mainly in ex-Soviet countries. The owner who asked about is from Russia.
