If you were a little more specific, i.e. telling us exactly what the problem is, what you're using them for, what brand/model/type they are, etc. I think you might get more help.

you might also google it... that's what i do whenever i got a problem with my comp which i can't fix myself and i always find the answer on some board :)

Ocassionally it's a simple problem, More info would help though.

For now, try double clicking on the small speaker icon in the lower right hand corner of your task bar. A speaker configuration manager should appear. Inside this, make sure that your microphone volume is not set very low, as well as making sure the mute box is not checked, as it tends to be set to mute on default.
