btw I´m quite surprised she competed in Miss Slovakia - it´s a beauty pageant (competition) and models barely do it.

Introducing the Miss Slovakia 2015 finalists: She won the first title and keeps fulfilling her dreams: Adriana Hodossyova

She´s been working as a model for six years already and in the past managed to fought her way to the Elite Model Look final rounds. Thanks to modeling, the finalist no.10 ADRIANA HODOSSYOVA (22) from Bratislava has travelled all over Asia, lived in Turkey for one year and visited the US. Now she plans to settle in Slovakia and besides photography she would like to dedicate herself to a fashion-oriented job. She loves cooking, sports, traveling, and spends her time with family and friends. This year journalists titled her the Miss Press.

 

Read another article from the series of interviews with the Miss Slovakia 2015 finalists. For health reasons Adriana missed the photo session at the Miss Slovakia camp. The pictures of the finalists were taken by Milan Strapko from the Visuals studio.

 

 

NM: Why do you want to win the Miss Slovakia 2015 title?

I would like to show the young people that even despite tougher living conditions it is important to keep your dreams and follow them. My story is a living proof that if you wish for something really hard, you can make it.

 

NM: How do you think you captured the attention of the jury at the castings?

I think it was due to my spontaneity and professionalism. And maybe also thanks to my sense of fashion and interesting outfits.

 

NM: What makes you better than the other finalists?

I have experience with similar competition, seeing that in past I made it to the Elite Model Look finale. And also spontaneity and ability to make other people smile. (laughs) 

 

NM: Which values do you think the future Miss Slovakia 2015 should emphasize and do you think you have these?

She should represent a role model for young girls - frank, spontaneous and especially full of optimism. She should support people in living healthier and behaving more responsibly towards their surroundings and nature. It is specially important for me that young people acquire proper lifestyle habits.

 

NM: Imagine wearing white T-shirt and walking down the streets. What would be the message to carry on the T-Shirt?

Seeing that my nickname at home is "family clown", it would surely be Keep Smiling. A smile is a thing that can help us handle even the more difficult situations and in today modern quick world we often forget that such simple thing as smile can bright up the whole day for others.

 

NM: Your experience with modeling?

I have been a model since I was sixteen. My first experience was the Elite Model Look competition, thanks to which I travelled a lot - Milano, Paris, Shanghai, South Korea, Chinese town Šen-čen, Singapore and Turkey, where I also lived for a year. Then I changed my agency and one of my biggest modeling dreams came true - I got the work visas in USA and visited Los Angeles.

 

NM: How would you describe your everyday outfit?

It would definitely be a casual elegance, but I also love to combine various styles. Always according to my mood, e.g. jeans, shirt, leather jacket, high-cut black boots.

 

NM: Your favourite fashion brand?

Definitely Zara. Most of the girls, when they like some piece of clothing I wear, they are always like: I´m sure that´s from Zara, isn´t it? (laughs)

 

NM: Tell us more about the region you come from and its most beautiful places.

I´m from Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. There are many beautiful places in the centre and around. The best are the Devin castle where I love to take a walk when it´s sunny. Another one is Železna studienka with beautiful lakes and grill places. And also the favourite Danube dam where I love going skating in summer.

 

NM: What are your future plans in case you will not win the Miss Slovakia title?

Seeing that for the last years I vigorously dedicated my time to modeling, I would like to find a steady job. Preferably, however, in the fashion fields.
