Audrey Tatou: Possibly the New Face of Chanel No. 5

April 17, 2008

Audrey

Well this is a hardly a stretch.

Audrey Tatou, the popular and precious French actress who starred in Amelie and The Da Vinci Code, is said to be the new face of Chanel No. 5, which of course, chickadees, means we'll be waving au revoir to Nicole Kidman if the rumors are founded. Given Karl's predilection for fine-boned, artsy-looking muses (Kidman, Keira Knightley, Irina Lazareanu, Vanessa Paradis...), I have to wonder if the gossip is true. In any case, the fashion crowd will be still tripping over themselves to get to Audrey, since she's somewhat reprising that other Audrey's role in Priceless, a new comedy based on Breakfast at Tiffany's. Prepare to be enveloped in plenty of romantic hijinx, whimsy, and ribbons of cigarette smoke. And possibly a cloud of Chanel No. 5.

And she's the face of Chanel No.5!!! :D Can't wait to see the commercials, during Christmas time.
