December 4, 200916 yr Author LOUISE Van de Vorst, girlfriend of silverchair's Daniel Johns, dumped her topline agency and signed to its rival amid talk her new rock'n'roll lifestyle has threatened to derail her career.Van de Vorst last week signed with Chic agency - one of the country's two premier model agencies - after cutting free from Chadwicks, its main rival and the agency which discovered 21-year-old Van de Vorst in 2006. The winsome blonde is a big signing for Chic, which has expanded into the field of talent management for mixed media, and there was no small degree of disappointment at Chadwicks yesterday - with sources reporting the agency has been frustrated by recent attempts to get Van de Vorst back to work. "She has become Daniel Johns' girlfriend," a source sniped. "There is nothing else. "She doesn't seem to want to model any more. "She apparently dare not let Johns out of her sight. So she knocks back work and stays totally glued to him." Chadwicks agency boss Martin Walsh acknowledged there had been "professional differences" with Van de Vorst. "There were professional differences as far as her being unavailable for work," he said. "You do need a professional attitude to have a professional career." But Chic executive Kathy Ward contradicted this, saying Van de Vorst was "very professional and had an amazing attitude". "She perfectly fits the profile of the Chic model, the likes of which include Miranda Kerr, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Sarah Stevens, and was out working today for Grazia and Harper's."
