Kevin Rudolf is an American Pop singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. He is signed to Cash Money Records/Universal Republic Records. Born in New York City, he is currently based out of Miami. Rudolf is best known for his hit single "Let It Rock" which has so far peaked at #5 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Early Life

Kevin Rudolf was born in New York City, New York and is based in Miami, Florida. He was raised by a single mother, who introduced him to music at a young age. He started playing guitar at age 11.

Production career

Rudolf has worked with many artists as either a producer, writer or guitarist. Rudolf has notably worked with Nelly Furtado, Britney Spears, Timbaland, Black Eyed Peas, Lil' Kim, LL Cool J, Justin Timberlake, Kevin Lyttle, David Banner, Lil Wayne, T.I. and Ludacris. He also collaborated with Nas on the street single "NYC".

Musical work

Rudolf's debut album, In the City, was released on November 24, 2008, and includes the song "Let It Rock". Track 5 from In The City, Rudolf's "NYC" featuring Nas opened up CSI:NY on November 5, 2008. Little is known about this album, what is known is that Rudolf wrote the entire album and it is based on his life experiences. "Let It Rock" has peaked at #5 on the Billboard US Hot 100 chart so far. The song instantly was the #1 most requested song in the major markets of New York City, Chicago, Miami and Los Angeles.
