In case you weren’t already loosing your cool over the upcoming Isabel Marant x H&M collection, wait until you see who they got to front its campaign! H&M officially released its first image from the campaign today, which stars none-other-than model-of-the-moment, Daria Werbowy! Already, the supermodel star of Marant’s mainline, Daria returns to the fast fashion brand looking oh, so Marant-esque! The image, which was released via Twitter on Monday, features Daria in a chunky looped-yam knit layered over a cool sweatshirt and heathered tee. The super’s killer nose ring even makes an appearance in the ad, along with a pair of delicate hoop earrings. As for the recently leaked lookbook, Marant opted for a handful of other big names models, most notably Milla Jovovich, Lou Doillon, Alek Wek and Malgosia Bela, to model the laid-back Parisian-inspired wares. The collection doesn’t officially launch until November 14, and already, the designer seems to have quite the model-backing— reason enough for us to brave the sure-to-be chaotic state of any one of the city’s H&M store one month from now! Having already caught our attention with her impressive number of Fall ‘13 campaigns and September issue covers, we were convinced that the Canadian supermodel was in the midst of a major modeling comeback. In fact, the only thing missing was Daria’s catwalk comeback and today, we got it!Marking one of the biggest highlights of the fashion season thus far, Daria made her return to the runway at Paris Fashion week today, closing Alexander Wang’s second Balenciaga show to the delight of the fashion crowd. Having been absent from the runways since September 2010, Daria’s surprise appearance caused quite a bit of commotion with many of Wang’s guests taking to Twitter to share in our overt joy. We think Derek Blasberg said it best: ”Daria Werbowy closing the Balenciaga show this morning was certainly an inspiring way to start the end of fashion month.”Taking to the stage at the Observatoire de Paris this morning, Daria joined fellow models, Jourdan Dunn, Julia Stegner, Kati Nescherand Edie Campbell among others, wearing a short white embellished mini dress with a longer sheer organza veil. As always, Daria’s stunning beauty was hard to ignore. Starring out into the audience the way that only Daria could, the Lancôme beauty proved she’s still every bit the runway champ.The return to the runway comes after an increasing number of modeling gigs this year including, 10 top-notch campaigns and over 8 major glossy covers. In fact, this season alone, Daria has landed Fall ‘13 campaigns with Diane von Furstenberg, Isabel Marant, Celine and Salvatore Ferragamo, while also earning a total of four September covers including one of the eight supermodel covers shot for Interview Magazine’s ‘Model Issue’.Thankfully, Paris Fashion Week isn’t over yet, and seeing as how Daria still holds the record for opening and closing the most runway shows in one season, we wouldn’t be surprised if this was just the first stop on Daria’s epic 2013 modeling comeback!
