He better walk away with some hardware this award season. The movie was definitely violent but it was worth every penny to see Mr. Candie. Jonah's scene was great too! Very funny. I don't wanna give it away but you'll understand why when you see it. A question : Is that the initial "W" on the round piece on chain Leo is wearing ?? At present it is Monday 1:20 pm while in Vegas it is still Sunday 6:20 pm. I feel the same way about PF and Django too. Thanks sick for all your LEo cover posts ! I knew you would recognize the source of my Leo photo It's impressive about the box office for Django because The Hobbit was on a lot of IMAX screens which charge more plus more screens. Looking at the numbers, the reason why Hobbit took the weekend is the sheer numbers of screens and the 3D and Imax bump. Even with those Django had the highest per screen average of the top three. Likely this is the combination of Leonardo DiCaprio and Jamie Foxx. The film has been out for six days and it’s already done half the business of Inglourious Basterds, which means its on track to be Quentin Tarantino‘s most successful domestic picture (it’s unknown how international will react). $200 is unlikely, but a $150-$170 finish is possible. With New Year’s Eve and Day on a Monday and Tuesday this upcoming week, it’s hard to know how the numbers will go next weekend. And if he had to do a voiceover surely that could be done in a studio either in New York or L.A. Like Avaia , I think Leo was invited to spend the New Year there because of his connection to Star , when he was filming Gatsby, as well as , his connection to Noah Tepperberg ( man behind Marquee nightclubs ) who is ,also, over there helping their new Marquee club ( located in Star casino) ring in New Year . Valentine As to DDL/Spielberg/Leo , I agree with Sic's comment . The issue never was that Spielberg didn't have access to DDL's cellphone As the bottom of the article states, in an interview DDL himself concurred with what Spielberg had said about Leo connection to accepting the role.
