March 29, 200818 yr Well the Hurricanes threw that one away. The Crusaders looked VERY ordinary indeed tonight, certainly NOT an A grade team but through Hurricane incompetence the Crusaders took the match. The 'Canes missed THREE easy kicks at goal, subed their kicker off at the wrong time & gave away penalities left right & centre. The 'Canes gave away 13 penalities to the 'Saders 5. The'Canes had 8 lineout wins against the 'Saders 3 even with Grahams blue eyed boy jumping high for the red & blacks. The'Canes had 48% Possession. Well the 'Canes get a bonus point but should have won the match against a B grade 'Saders performance tonight, the 'Canes have only their own incompetence at missing kicks & giving away penalities to blame, not to mention the usual idiot that fouled like he normally does (or drops the ball on the try line or gives free intercepts to the other team) as a try was about to be scored tonight, that was another seven points given away. . . . Crusaders may have paid a high price for their B grade victory against the Hurricanes with Dan Carter struck down by injury, after injuring his leg making a tackle. Hope he comes right later, I wanna see Evans come up against Carter & rub his face in it.
