Valerie Hasson-Benillouche, a pioneer and committed digital artist, founded Galerie Charlot in 2010 in Paris and opened a second location in Tel Aviv in 2017.

Initially working in the fashion world, Valérie has traveled the world, living in Paris, Tokyo, Milan, and Madrid.

It was through these travels that her passion for art was revealed and she began her personal collection.

Married and mother of three children, now adults working in the worlds of architecture, music, and hospitality, Valérie previously founded Antipodes, a design objects company that she designed, manufactured, and exported internationally until the late 1990s.

She expanded her practice into interior design, which also led her to advise clients on their art purchases. In 2010, in line with her professional development, Valérie opened Galerie Charlot in Paris and then in Tel Aviv, whose mission is to represent artists from the digital world.

She has been a partner of the Nemo Festival, a jury member for Arcadi, and a member of the Laguna Price Venezia jury. She is a member of the FHDN Foundation, the Digital and Numerical Humanities Foundation.

Around the world, at conferences and fairs in Paris, Basel, Brussels, and New York, Valérie and her collaborators are dedicated to the development of digital art as a major art form, an integral part of contemporary art. -- source: cnap fr
