The "rumours" about Lindsay being "fired" are so annoying. Whoever started that obviously doesn't know how the industry works. It sounds like something a 13 year old girl started out of wishful thinking or because she wanted to stir the pot.

As far as I know, models don't get hired indefinitely and then fired when VS no longer wants them. They sign contracts with terms. I think I read online somewhere that Lindsay signed a three year contract in 2009 which means it should be up this year. If that's right, I hope, hope, hope it gets renewed even if just for a year but I have a depressing sense it might not be. VS seem keen to bring in Toni, Bregje, Barbara, Karlie, Elsa etc as the new brigade and there are so many blondes now. (And it seems like even more with Lily, Adriana and Alessandra taking maternity leave, and Miranda winding down her workload a bit.) Besides, Lindsay is 27 with her 28th birthday around the time of the show I think. That's around about the age that most of the models leave unless they're huge names like Heidi or Adriana.

I hope she stays though. I adore her and think she does such a good job. She always knows what to say about the products but doesn't sound like she's speaking from a script. You don't see her personal life blasted over every gossip blog (although I do love her personal style so sometimes I do wish for more candids). She isn't dating a famous actor or musician. She isn't hawking her own skincare or lingerie line etc. She's just gorgeous and professional. I don't dislike the other girls for those things I just think it's refreshing to have a model who is a model and not a celebrity-in-waiting.

VS did say that all the current angels (bar the pregnant ones / ones who just gave birth) are confirmed for the show at the end of the year so even if she's not an angel this time next year, at least we'll get to see her for one more VSFS. :-)

I rhink Lindsay isn't leaving though. VS seem to use her more than the others for their beauty products.

I do not understand, what is the point of VS fire her and put Karlie (WTF), Toni and Bregje( I think VS are committing a mistake choosing her, Edita Vilkeviciute would be a better choice) in her place.

It makes any sense, Lindsay is already a familiar face ... Also, she has one of the most beautiful faces of all the Angels, she can give great interviews and talk naturally about the products...

If Vs fire her, it will be so unfair, really, she never even had a fair chance to Shine!!!

I think these rumors started just because her contract ends this year, and also because she is not as ''popular'' with social media!!!

Anyway, I think her contract will be renewed, at least I hope!!!

Honestly, there's no conclusive proof that she ever signed a 3-year contract in '09. I mean, reportedly so did Rosie and Emanuela and where are they now? I mean, they started promoting her around swim season in late 2009, then she mostly dropped off VS for most of 2010 only to come back again late that year and be a full time Angel in 2011. VS just seems to love switching their models around tehse days (aside from Candice and Erin, obviously...).
