It would be a good thing if she did a cover + editorial for them promoting Tropic of C and talked about spring collection but knowing Vogue it won't happen as long as Priyanka, Kendall, Hailey and Hadids will be around. Vogue is nowdays whoever is relevant for tabloids. The Vogue Spain of January is so simple and unknown faces with slow low key editorials for example and US was boring as fuck all 2018...
I would love to see her on the cover of Vogue, but I find it extremely difficult to do so, even more so on a solo cover. A solo editorial, just like one she has already done, would be interesting, but knowing Vogue these days I find it difficult. Talking about the Tropic of C in a video for Vogue would be so good for her and brand ...
But I hope 2019 brings some very good things to her career, with some covers for some Vogue. -

If she did it Vogue maybe is keeping it for next year but is kind of strange if they do that.
The only reason (if she actually made the video) that they could save for next year is if she's involved in some big project that hasn't yet been revealed (and talks about it in the video). Which I personally doubt. So I don't think there's any video, sadly.

And all that story that Candice would have done a Vogue "73 Questions" video? I guess it wasn't real after all, right?

I always received MANY messages from people who live in Vitoria in Espirito Santo (where she has a house) that Hermann wasn't a very loyal person. I don't know how much of this is true, so I never took it so seriously, but this has already come to me from various people.
For me it's sad, I hate it when couples separate, but if that's true the end was good for her.PS: I'm not trying to cause intrigue, just putting here what I was told about it

Because is the Candice thread, not Candice's baby.
Well, it's Candice's babies, they're part of Candice's life. And here it is also posted things about her life. As @medicenevs said, if the admins are ok with this, what's the problem? If you don't like to see just ignore, I'm sure that doing this isn't difficult
-
I don't get why some people are so mad about baby pictures.
I mean, is Candice posting them, why not share? Especially now that we don't have anything new relate to work. I think it's okay, I like to see this part of the models life.

Shoot for (probably) Resort 2019 of Tropic of C started!
Where: Canyon Point, Utah. She's at the Amangiri hotel there.
Team: Jerome Duran (Photography), Danielle Priano (Haior), Inge Fonteyne (Stylist), Ana Rizzieri (Makeup).
BIG Plus: Amilna Estevao is also there, she said she's there for work so she's probably shooting for Tropic of C as well (since she arrived with the whole team). She also said she'd shoot today, tomorrow and on Wednesday she would go back to NY.
I'm really excited about it!

Candice Swanepoel showing her impressive body just a couple of months after giving birth to her second child, baby Ariel Swanepoel Nicoli. Candice had to wait outside the photo studio until an assistant came to get her. September 19,2018
She definitely wasn't outside a photo studio for nothing 👀 Do you guys think she was shooting the same project she shoot with Elsa or something different?

I think Miss Sixty's new campaign will be released on Saturday (15th). It looks like there's going to be an event too, and they quoted Candice. I don't know if it's because she's the face of the campaign, or if it's because she's going to be in the event. I don't understand it very well...

lol, artists are some of the most paid and celebrated people in today's society.
I don't know where you live, but where I live art is one of the most inestimated things. And I don't think it's any different in other places in the world, for people who don't work in any area that involves art or who search about it.
Even if it were really appreciated, and really understood, there wouldn't be people trying to give their opinion on the price placed on such works. But that's just my opinion

Russel James' newsletter:
"The art exhibition and limited edition book will preview in New York to a private audience on September 6, exactly four years (almost to the day) from the launch of Angels (2014).
Cindy Crawford and Candice Swanepoel are co-hosting the launch, and I could think of nobody better to explain this endeavor than Cindy, who not only appears in the book but also wrote the foreword as to why the nude matters so much. "That's amazing!
Can't wait for September, thank you for sharing it!
-
The only insane thing here is people wanting to put price on the work of a person's life. That's why art is so unappreciated these days
Will there be any launch event? I've been kind of lost in the last few days with the information. If you do, I hope she goes!

Does anyone else have the feeling that Candice is almost done with VS? When is her contract up?
I feel it too, and I'm glad. I think it's time to her to focus in something new.

@Candylicious. Babe, these pictures still can't be released. Candice herself asked to delete them.
And @bump Candice continues in VS. But there's no sign that she will actually walk in the VSFS this year, and there is no (at least that we know) new content from her for the brand
-
Do you guys think Natasha is shooting something like a lookbook (since Tropic of C is thinking about spreading to some boutiques) or that she will be the face of the Resort campaign?
-
I'm going to put the new interview from Candice to WWD here, since the site is blocked for non-subscribers (luckily Tropic of C shared the interview via Stories
). I'm sharing here because there are some cool things about future branding possibilities (like events and stuff like that)
QuoteOnes to Watch in Swimwear: Tropic of C
Tropic of C's initial lineup does double duty as sophisticated fashion basics for the summer months
Candice Swanepoel's supermodel background has certainly come in handy for her lates endeavor.
The founder of the swimwear line Tropic of C, which launched earlier this year, has a focus on sophisticated, classic silhouettes. The line's inaugural offering included an assortment of one-pieces that included scoop-neck styles with ribbed fabric, athletic side-striping and check prints.
"The [brand's] name comes from the idea of creating a fictional place, our own tropic, where summer never ends" Swanepoel said.
The business has so far seen traction with the founder, noting the line's Eighties-inspired tube top and a matching high-waisted, high-leg bottom as the brand's number-one style. The Coco black bikini, rib mallot called Bo, and C one-piece bearing ultra-skinny straps have also seen strong sales.
"We bring a modern approach to vintage classics and a mix of European elegance with Brazilian ease" Swanepoel said of why she thinks the line's been able to stand out. "We focus on distinct fits - it features a high-cut lega, some corset-type tops and references to the Eighties and Nineties."
The materials used are sourced from Italian mills, some of which are using regenerated nylon.
Tropic of C is direct-to-consumer but is now exploring additional distribution opportunities.
"We will always be very commited to this [direct] model, but we are considering partnerships with a few select boutiques or other online businesses who have a similiar brand ethos and kindred spirits," Swanepoel said. "We want to grow our community and bring our product to our custumers in real life, interact with our girls via pop-up events, thunk shows and collaborations. We learned we have lots of global customers and in order to serve them well, we need partners in different corners of the world."
The line, which recently began showing its resort 2019 collection, rangers from $120 to $260 for one-pieces. Bottoms start at $65 with tops starting at $80.

Candice answered some questions through Instagram Stories today, and in one of them she said she's working on the Tropic of C Resort Collection
I can't wait for that!
-
Glad to see Candice back to work! ❤️ I definitely didn't expect it to be that fast. Can't wait to see the result! I just wonder if she's really going back to work now, or if that was an exception
-
Seriously, this thread is becoming disgusting. Are people really judging the looks of a baby who is not even two years old?! Ridiculous. I hope you educate yourself.
