I'm not going to count Ale out for a third fantasy bra. I feel like Elsa is the most natural choice to get it of all the new angels but if VS is more committed to letting Ale go while keeping Adriana, they might give her a goodbye gift.

Will Candice be getting her second fantasy bra this year? Or is there hope for a new angel to get it?

It seems to be doing well. She keeps adding new stuff and it keeps getting sold out. They just launched on Sephora so its a big step. I just wish she would model more.

Going to the ceremony isn't very exclusive. It isn't just the nominees who get the invite. If you're apart of the academy and a famous enough actor, you get the invite. Monika Lewinsky get the invite to go to the ceremony every year so it wouldn't be a stretch for Ale to go. I think I said in an earlier post that she's actually very popular in America. There are tons of people who go to ceremony but aren't on camera. A regular person can go to the oscars if they know the right person and are willing to be a filler. Don't forget that Alessandra is contracted with L'oreal Professionnel Haircare now so if she went it could be because of that.

I'll never understand why VS isn't pushing Alessandra the way they used to. She's probably the most well known angel in the US or at least LA because she's always out on the town.

She'll do just fine. She has her Chanel Beauty contract and Karl loves her so she's always in ads for other Chanel lines.

Each situation was a little different. Lindsay's contract was up somewhere in the beginning or middle of 2014 so for her last show she wasn't featured as an angel but she was in the intro. Miranda quit and made it well known that she quit and was no longer an angel. VS seemed to be trying to quietly fade her out but she went to the press so they had to make a statement saying that she was invited to walk the show but declined. With Doutzen and Karlie, they walked their last show as angels because they were still under contract. They both asked to be let go an VS agreed.

The hype over the magazine seems to have died already. No ones talking about it anymore.

I wonder how she makes her money these days/how much she's making. When she appeared in the forbes list she has the tail end of her VS contract, Witchery, Buffalo, and Chopard. Since SI doesn't pay their models for shooting, I guess she has her Curve fragrance contract, Impulse fragrance contract, Lascana, and the Northwest. I always find it weird when a model goes from a big contract to not doing much. I hope that this year her agency really pushes her and she gets lots of work.

Who does everyone think will get the Julie Campbell Award in the coming years? I think the first Kathy, Christie, and Tyra in a random order. After, I could see Paulina and Cheryl getting it followed by Rachel, Daniela, Rebecca, and Carol Alt. I think we have about 10 years before they'd get to any of the recent cover girls.

I think the core of the Erin issue is that she's uncomfortable with her new body. She needs to go back to her 2011-2012 self. That's when she always talked about how happy she was.

Theres nothing wrong with Erin. She just gets super nervous in interviews. She did an interview with Doug Gottlieb which was super weird. There's a short clip on Youtube but if you listen to the entire thing, its super weird. This interview isn't as cringe worthy as the interview on CBS with Russell James. This is how rumors start and next thing you know her career can actually be hurt because the forums are calling her an addict.

Theres a point in this interview that they ask Hailey a question and Ashley jumps in before she can. I find it a bit obnoxious but I can't knock her because she's seizing her moment like she says Elle and Tyra told her to. She also says that she wasn't retouched, in that case her body is pretty nice.

I'm calling it now. Erin is back for 2017. IMG is probably raining hell down as we type. They're not going to let one of their well known girls be embarrassed like this.

The cover isn't everything to some models. Hilary Rhoda and Anne V were successful without it with Hilary probably being more successful than any of the past 5 cover girls.

Poor Ashley was backstage saying that she can't wait for her life to change. It's really sweet but so unrealistic. Hailey will be overshadowed for the 3 weeks that the cove rgirl matters and then she will get all the jobs and may even be able to make a high fashion comeback.

I don't think you can claim diversity when you have 3 white women on the cover. If they were going to pull a cheap stunt like this, they could have given one of the covers to a women of color.
