Yet no one will say a thing if Vogue Japan publishes an editorial with Japanese model wearing say a traditional Russian outfit in a traditional Russian setting. And somehow the people who complain the loudest about cultural appropriation are almost never from the actual "appropriated" cultures. Cultural appropriation is a real thing but many people seem to find it just about anywhere which I find ridiculous. Not that this makes this particular faux pas by Vogue any less stupid from a purely PR point of view, mind you. A sumo wrestler, really? I have to suspect they were trying to stir controversy on purpose. And yes, Karlie is being ridiculously hypocritical. Nobody forced her to do the shoot.

Barbara is slaying in Swimsuit Issue, of course, but I wish there were more photos with her smiling. She has an amazingly beautiful smile, SI should have unleashed it more.

Barbara with Ashley Benson? So much beauty in so little space. Ditto for Barbara and Stella but you see that a lot more often (though never often enough, if you ask me).

I love the Maxim cover. Their selection of models has been full of win in the past year or so (either that or they sold VS a whole bunch of covers at a discount :)). Still, I hope Gilles Bensimon steps up his game because his Maxim covers tend to be great but the editorials not so much.

This does not sound like a legitimate source. Just kidding, Stella is probably a lot more likely to smile a lot when there aren't paparazzi around.

I can't help but notice how horrible the editing of the opening of DA was - so many cuts to Lady Gaga, Gigi and even Kendall that we barely saw Taylor's walk and pose.

Honestly, I find these Love Advent famous movie rip-offs homages very uninspired and rather tacky. This one is better than the one with Stella but still rather cringe-worthy. Not Barbara's fault, she looks marvelous as always. The Lui pictures are magnificent though.

My preferred lineup will never, ever happen because it includes VS letting Candice, Adriana and Jo go - they are probably the least likely to leave any time soon. It would be Lais, Stella, Taylor, Jasmine, Behati and Elsa. Maybe bringing back Jac and Barbara Palvin too, if you allow me an even more unrealistic lineup. Realistically, they will probably just drop some of Stella, Ale, Romee, Sara, Lily and Martha and call it a day.
