She went to the Balmain after-party but not the actual Met Gala.

God, Balmain is sooooo boring now - Olivier has literally been churning out variations on like 4 looks for the past few collections. I loved Nicole Kidman's look (even though it didn't go with the theme), and Liu Wen, Florence Welch, KK and Claire Danes were the stand outs for me. Also, I would have loved to see someone wear/pay tribute to some old McQueen designs (particularly from his Givenchy a/w '99 collection) since they'd actually fit the theme but it's seems everyone likes to slap on some heavy metallic jewellery and foil and suddenly they're ~futuristic~

Taylor looks nice, not sure how it fits the theme, but still pretty. Also, didn't Kendall wear the same dress (or a variation of) at some event a little while back?

But good for Taylor, even if it's not a contract, beauty campaigns pay well and I knew it was only a matter of time before she landed one with that face. I don't like Gigi for Maybelline either but meh, I don't shop there so I don't care.

Yep! In Australia, all the stores I know of only sell their crappy beauty products and some stores sell panties as well. But no lingerie, swim, sports wear or clothing. EDIT: Same, although I was surprised to hear that they would cancel both of these sectors considering I always hear people rave about VS sports bras and their swimwear
