My favourite club is Carlisle United who currently sit in England's fourth tier (League Two) of Football. They have a rather unique place in English Football history, they were the first club (and may be the only club) to have been relegated out of the Football League (top 4 tiers), to have also spent at least a week in first position in the top flight. Between 1950 and 1974 they worked they way up the English Pyramid from Division 4 to lead Division 1 early in the 1974-75 season. Then from 1975 to 2004 they worked their way down the English Pyramid, eventually being relegated to the Conference in 2004.

The ashes actually began in the 1880's only a few years after the very first test match back in 1877. It was after an Australian victory at The Oval, our first Test win on English soil, the Sporting Times newspaper wrote an obituary stating that English cricket had died, and the body will be cremated and the ashes taken to Australia. The following test series in Australia in 1882-83 was the first series the be called the Ashes. After the England won the series, a group of Melbourne woman presented the English Captain with a small urn that reportedly contained the ashes of a wooden bail. It is believed this is the very urn that is on displays Lords.

I voted for Sophie Marceau and Juliette Binoche, but neither come close to Mathilda May who is one of the most beautiful women in history.
  9. Claudia Cardinale x 3. She is flawless.
