  1. I read Baz offered Leo the Tom Hanks role in the Elvis movie but Leo passed on it. I wouldn’t mind another collaboration between them. I know it’s divisive but I really liked The Great Gatsby.
  2. There’s also this but upon further inspection I don’t think the brunette woman is Camila..
  3. According to this person Leo and Camila broke up. Weren’t they just spotted having lunch together recently? I’m hoping it’s not true. It would look so bad for Leo 😬
  4. That’s probably why Leo didn’t win for The Wolf of Wall Street. I’ll forever be annoyed Matthew McConaughey won over him.
  5. That’s true. My point in sharing the Reddit comments was to share a different perspective of Leo. He’s not perfect, but I’ve never heard of him harming or mistreating women. Not in real life or in the work place. Lately I’ve been getting the impression that some people on the Internet WANT Leo to be an abuser, in order to justify their dislike of him. It’s pretty sick.
  6. Read the comments. The majority of people didn’t find this TikTok woman or her story credible. Even on the video people were questioning this woman’s story in the comments. On TikTok you can say anything, doesn’t mean it’s true.
  7. Here’s some positive tea from r/Deuxmoi.. “I don’t know if this is true or not, but I have a similar story with a completely opposite outcome. I met Leo at a club in Vegas some years back and he was so kind and respectful, asked me and my friends to join his table, introduced us to his crew and eventually invited us back to his villa where he was throwing a huge party (lots of celebs were there). He was a literal Great Gatsby of this party, being a lovely host. Everyone else was sloppy and doing drugs, but he wasn’t. He didn’t even appear drunk. He was nothing but respectful and engaging. I didn’t see any red flags and was actually so thrilled to see what a gentleman he was to everyone.” “Glad she had the same experience ☺️ Lots of coke involved at the parties I was at with him as well, but in those instances he wasn’t doing it.” “The. Nicest. Man. I ran into his circle a bunch and he was always so kind, and always respectful to the ladies ❤️“
  8. Believe me, I was grossed out with Leo dating Camila for the reasons you stated and it’s why I’ve never been able to warm up to their “relationship.” However, I don’t believe he groomed her like so many people assume. He was linked to a number of different women before he was ever linked with Camila. Heck, he was hanging out with ex Toni Garnn the same year he and Camila started dating. Toni was already 25 by then. It seems like she was seriously considering making it official with Leo again.
  9. Interesting. What is the evidence to support this (re: Camila living with her mother)? If you could share I’d appreciate it. All of Leo’s relationships in recent years scream PR to me. I agree with you, I wouldn’t be surprised if he tries to make this relationship with Camila stick in order to fix his playboy image. At this rate it’s looking like she will outlast Bar.
  10. This may be an unpopular opinion but I don’t think Leo’s relationship with Bar was that serious. There were People Magazine articles from as early as 2007 stating that the relationship had run its course. There were also blind items that came out about Leo having trouble in the bedroom when he was with Bar.. Most importantly, Bar’s tax evasion trial revealed she was living in Israel several months a year during their relationship. A witness also testified at the trial that Bar's mother (and manager) planted false stories about her relationship with Leo to make it seem like they were getting serious and moving in together. It seems like they stuck together for so long to give off the impression Leo was in a long term relationship with her.
  11. My apologies then if you’re not like that, I admittedly don’t post on here often. I think getting involved with Camila is one the worst decisions Leo has made in his romantic life. This “relationship” has lowkey damaged his reputation and turned him into a laughing stock. The whole “Leo refuses to date a woman older than 25” thing is widespread now and it’s starting to overshadow his career. He also doesn’t help himself as an environmentalist by chartering yachts and flying private. Many people have been calling him out lately for being a hypocrite when it comes to the environment.
  12. You can’t handle the slightest criticism of Leo. He is not a God no matter how much you think he is. He has been mocked and criticized mercilessly for his personal life in the last few years. As a longtime fan, I hate to see it and want better for him. If that makes me a bad person in your eyes, then so be it.
  13. Those stories about Leo lying there and wearing headphones sure are flattering…
  14. About Leo being damaged, he was surrounded by pedophiles as a child/teen actor. Sadly I wouldn’t be surprised if he went through some shit. Look up his pedo manager Bob Villard. There’s also this video of him on the set of Growing Pains with Brian Peck, who was convicted of sexually abusing a minor.
  15. I never used to believe the bisexual rumors about Leo, but now I do. I wouldn’t be surprised if Lukas is his real “love” and these young models are just smoke and mirrors.
  16. Stephen Trask also insinuated Leo’s girlfriends are fake/hired. Skip to 5:00
  17. AMEN! I don't think we'll have any new Leo movies until 2019 now Everything he's been attached to doesn't sound remotely ready to begin filming, heck the majority of them don't even have scripts! Of the projects he's been attached to recently, I'm looking forward to The Devil in The White City the most. I checked its status on IMDb Pro, and the script was recently updated in April so that's promising. However, considering Scorsese's next movie The Irishman won't be released until 2019, it's looking like we won't get to watch TDITWC until like, 2021 or even later
  18. Amy Adams talks about having a crush on Leo during Growing Pains, how it went away when they worked together in Catch Me If You Can, and how it was cool to watch him finally win an Oscar in the beginning. She's sweet.
  19. I have to get this off my chest. There's a poster from ONTD who lurks on this thread and shares info we find out about Leo on there. Recently she implied Leo doesn't care about the Dakota Access Pipeline protests since he hasn't attended one yet and would rather be on a yacht or private jet. Just a heads up to you, the reason Leo hasn't been at the Dakota Access Pipeline protests is because he's been busy promoting his climate change documentary. Also, lately he has been spotted flying commercial instead of private and he hasn't been spotted on a yacht in awhile. He has also expressed concern about indigenous people's lands being ruined for corporate interests many times and tweeted and retweeted about the protests on yesterday. See here - He is a hypocrite but at least know your facts before you shade him on ONTD where over 90% of posters there hate Leo and will take anything negative you say about him as gospel. I find it kinda weird how you follow his personal life in the first place since you seem to dislike him but oh well.
  20. Finally! A potential new project! http://deadline.com/2016/10/leonardo-dicaprio-truevine-beth-macy-circus-freak-story-jim-crow-south-1201838371/ EXCLUSIVE: Paramount Pictures and Appian Way are negotiating to acquire screen rights to the Beth Macy book Truevine: Two Brothers, a Kidnapping, and a Mother’s Quest; A True Story of the Jim Crow South. Appian Way’s DiCaprio and Jennifer Davisson will produce and the book will be developed as a potential star vehicle for DiCaprio. The book tells the true story of two African-American brothers who were kidnapped and displayed as circus freaks, while their mother endured a 28-year struggle to get them back. The tale takes place in 1899 on a tobacco farm in the Jim Crow South town of Truevine, Virginia. George and Willie Muse were two little boys born to a sharecropper family. One day a white man offered them a piece of candy, and soon they were captured and turned into circus performers that performed for royalty at Buckingham Palace and headlined over a dozen sold-out shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden. They were global superstars in a pre-broadcast era. But the very root of their success was in the color of their skin and in the outrageous and demoralizing caricatures they were forced to assume: supposed cannibals, sheep-headed freaks, even “Ambassadors from Mars.” Back home, their mother had no idea what had become of her sons, and she never accepted that they were “gone.” She spent 28 years trying to get them back. The book was repped by Foundry’s Richie Kern.
  21. But he did acknowledge his fans and said he was very grateful for us here. It'd be nice if acknowledged us more but just because he's not publicly talking about us doesn't mean he's not grateful for us. We don't know what he thinks and feels privately. He's said time and time again in interviews how grateful and fortunate he is to have the career and support he has. And to be honest many of his so called fans, at least online, constantly make fun of him or only like the young Leo from the 90's so if it's true that he's wary about his fans, I don't blame him.
  22. The Crowded Room isn't happening either. Someone on Just Jared has IMDB Pro and checked its page and said Leo is only listed as a producer, not an actor for it. Watch Leo not be in a new movie out until 2019 at this rate, especially with his recent legal troubles
  23. Leo will not star in The Ballad of Richard Jewell "The project once had Jonah Hill and Leonardo DiCaprio attached to play Jewell and his attorney, respectively, though only Hill remains attached to star. DiCaprio remains onboard to produce the film with his Appian Way partner Jennifer Davisson Killoran, as well as Hill and Kevin Misher." http://mashable.com/2016/08/18/olympics-and-hollywood-sex-comedies-other-movies/#ieoyQwem0SqU
  24. It feels like he's been on vacation non stop. I hope he gets back to work in the Fall. His peers like Christian Bale and Joaquin Phoenix work more than he does.
