If anything was "settled" she wouldn't look like that on the runway. And Adriana always had really high cheekbones, like her mother and grandmother. They don't come out of nowhere and makeup can enhance them even more. It was the makeup like @nhlovesadri said because her cheeks look way more normal before makeup was applied. If it were settled in the makeup less pic, then she wouldn't look like that on the runway after makeup was applied.
If they look like they usually do without makeup, as well as during non VS events, it was VS' makeup scheme for this year.
Y'all be talking about cheekbones when the Asian in me wished I had noticeable cheekbones to begin with. Even my dimples aren't that obvious. You guys are truly blessed with Caucasian and Hispanic blood 😢

• They should retire those damn wings on Gizele. It was Adriana’s on 2013 and Romee’s on 2015 and I’ve seen it on a couple of commercials too. They’re beautiful wings but enough with the recycling.
• Liu Wen should stop walking for this show. Clearly, they don’t like her enough to give her decent oufits. Ever since 2009, she’s either gotten unremarkable outfits at best or shit outfits. At least, she looked great.
• Martha’s body looked phenomenal. She has to have more control of her arms when she walks, though.
• Elsa’s face did look different this year. If she really had work done, her old face was better. Still gorgeous nonetheless.

• Nadine looks like Erin in some of her backstage photos.
• Shame that Toni only got one outfit. One of the best faces and bodies of the show and only one outfit
• Excluding the mess that was the Mary K segment, the outfits were less covered up this year which I’m very happy about. In previous years, the outfit would either cover their torso or their legs, sometimes both
. So it’s nice to see a handful of outfits that showcased both. Also having fewer tacky thigh high boots are always a plus.
• I wish they opened with a remix. When they open with a performer, they usually use their highest profile performer, right? They hired a bunch of b-list singers for this show and they let the d-list singer open the show! Lol.
• I don’t find Candice’s Golden Angels outfit ugly. Maybe she just carried it extremely well but they don’t look that bad to me.
• Speaking of Golden Angels, can someone explain to me how the name relates to the outfits? I don’t think there was a single gold element on that section. Am I taking it to literally?
• Finally, it was a better show than 2017 but that’s a low bar to clear. They really need to fire Sophia and hire a new creative director. That woman’s taste is just so questionable.
Sorry that was all over the place. Hopefully, we get a good edit on ABC.
I think Golden Angels is meant to reflect golden era of women, as in the era of 1980s and 1990s. Not the theme itself. Even then, the fact that Candice wore a shirt for the runway is just ridiculous. It's a lingerie fashion show FFS.

The irony. Every year we'd hate on Serkan's wings and this year, it turned out that Serkan's wings were the most well received wings this year. Everything that had feathers looked okay, decent or good.
Every other wings are just... those wings just lost its magic for me. I think Sophia is foregoing quality for quantity. She used to have so many bright ideas for wings, like the motion and layers or dimensional aspects of it. I bet Killer probably only made like 8-10 wings for this year's show. 40% of her time probably went to collaborating with the rest of the artisans to create those fugly parachute wings. Kirk is just bad, that guy lost his spark. His wings are aesthically pleasing but lacks depth and motion.

Let's face it guys, all these talk about who gets the better outfits compared to another model is pointless. Almost every look in this year's fashion show is questionable. The good outfits are a few and can be counted by hand.
Only Elsa's and Bella's outfits stood out for me. Then you have Lais' Celestial Angel outfit, and arguably, Sui's Mary K outfit at the back of the list. Every other outfits in the show are super tragic and I don't know what to think of VS' future now that Adriana has left. I'm foreeseing the fall of VS in the next 5-8 years if their sales continue to plummet and their ratings to drop.

Celestial Angels my ass, more like Calamity Angels. So much for celestial beings. Half of them are just the resemblance of stars suns and night skies.
Tell you what. Sui's wings were a wasted opportunity. Sophia could have literally got Kirk to create a second layer of ways to create a 3-dimensional effect. Add on some battery pack to the back, and you could have a wing that moves and rotate in a similar manner to atoms and ions.

This year is such a huge mess
The things that they put on their model. What were they thinking!?
I'm laughing at almost every model, even Sui because at least one thing on them looks tragic. Be it the lack of wings, or a horribly/amateur made wings or just the overall outfit. I'm not even mad that some models only had one wing for the year. Y'all should be grateful that some of your favorite didn't get them wings. VS needs to fire Kirk Maxon. By god are his gold plated wings awful.
