Freddy? He was a striker last time I saw him play. He's good but nothing too special IMO. Afterall, he is playing in America but also because he can dribble through a whole team and mess up a 6 yard strike What about Fernando Torres? Others say Owen Hargreaves could replace him but I'm not sure about a straight replacement because they are different types of players. I don't think anyone could really replace Scholes for you guys. When he was out of form he was invisible, but this season he's shining much more than Lampard and Gerrard combined! 43's not that bad, it's in the range I would've expected at least Usually (for the top 3 leagues), I just multiply the number of games played by 2 (points per fame) and you'll have a fair indication of how many points the leader should have (give or take of course, and also assuming nothing out of the ordinary occurs, e.g. the disappearance of 2 regular title contenders and a record breaking run of consecutive wins )

I think physically we've got the upper hand on Barca so extra-time might be somewhat advantageous I hope the next ref allows a bit more contact that the last game, but I also hope he can pick a dive out from a foul as well

Our B-team still consisted mainly of first team players though, unlike Arsenal who didn't field any more than a handful of first-teamers meh, it's not that impressive a record if you actually watch our games. A lot of teams kind of just miss like 3-4 sitters per game. I don't know why that is, but the point is our defence isn't as solid as that fact implies. If they played at their peak for 90 minutes the scoreline might reach double digits :| I consider Liverpool a class below all the other big teams and even though Barca didn't play well, they still carved up our defense. I think Barca can win easily if they bring their A-game but if they play like they did at Nou Camp but just improve their finishing, then they still have a good chance of progressing...just tell Valdes and the defence not to make any more mistakes I have hope that Liverpool will progress but I just don't expect Liverpool to go through And as if the first leg wasn't bad enough, we'll be playing even more defensive futbol at Anfield <_< :anger:
