  1.

i can feel brain cells dying when i read the inane judgements being made here.

look at the beautiful pictures.  what is the point for all this crap?

Why is it a problem to have a bit of a discussion. It's a forum.

Clearly the meaning of the word inane is lost on you.

@angelcandices: Can you believe this!? How can humans do this. Soon many of our beautiful African animals will be extinct, gone forever. So sad. #greed #savetherhinos #regram #behatiprinsloo

I was tempted to make a comment on her IG about labor exploitation by Victoria's Secret and is she greedy by earning money from them but I would probably just get blocked.

    #greed

And I don't have anything personal against Candice herself, more against celebrities in general who are all preachy about things and don't bother to look in the mirror.

Kinda like when some model gets all preachy about women empowerment and then next week she does a photoshoot with Terry Richardson.

    Preachy?

There's a picture of an endangered animal murdered and mutilated.  With it's baby left standing there.  Nobody's an angel in our modern capitalist greed driven society, but to equate a model making money to this is inane.

This a factual representation of the worst of human behavior.  Don't care what you call it. It's bad.  Deal with it.

  3. Paulina Porizkova's Secret Depression Led to Meds Addiction

Having braved an early elimination from Dancing with the Stars and been fired from America's Next Top Model because of her "gigantic huge ego," Paulina Porizkova paid a price.

As a result of these circumstances, the former supermodel now reveals, she suffered anxiety attacks – and the prescribed antidepressant, Lexapro, took a toll of its own on her, she reveals in a self-penned editorial on The Huffington Post.

Admitting that such factors as her brief DWTS stint in 2007 stoked her panic attacks (" just couldn't figure out what I had done wrong to be so disliked"), Porizkova, 46, writes that she turned to the drug at her doctor's suggestion.

A year later, "when I had to have a physical for insurance on America's Next Top Model, I truthfully wrote down the only medication I took, Lexapro," she says. "Unfortunately, this was promptly broadcast all over the ANTM production set. … I was judged crazy. Unstable."

Two years into being medicated she noticed that not only was her anxiety being dulled, but so was her personality. One side effect: a "sexual distancing from my husband," musician Ric Ocasek.

"I felt emotionally Botoxed," she writes. "I decided that this affair had all the drawbacks of an affair."

After quitting the antidepressant, Porizkova bumped up her exercise regime to offset the withdrawal, "three weeks of being tired and shaky from wrangling with awful dreams."

She also found herself fighting the daily urge to pop a pill: "I could finally understand the drug addicts who had cleaned up but wrestled with the urge to use every day," she writes.

"I'm certainly not an anti-medicine crusader. [but] I'm starting to wonder whether antidepressants can often be the emotional equivalent of plastic surgery."

I'm a big fan of Paulina's...for a long time...always thought of her as one of the most beautiful women ever.

But antidepressants are not habit forming. You do not get cravings or urges or whatever to take them.

She's describing Lexapro as if it were a barbiturate, which is not.

It is very disappointing to read something so wrong from someone you like and respect. But she appears not to understand what she is writting about.

  4. You may be right, yoda. Of course, doing nude scenes and bathing on nude beaches (post 37) isn't exactly my idea of dignity, but who knows, huh? I've been around the block a few times, and you wouldn't believe what people will do for money or noteriety, but..you may be right.

Yeah ... uh, nice avatar ... matches your comments.

Anyone who doesn't know that is a horrible fake doesn't have their brain plugged in.

  5. She looks better than ever to me. An almost perfet woman's body with one of the most beautiful faces ever.

Has anyone considered that she is just maturing into a woman and not a little girl anymore?

I guess if she was starving herself, she could have the physique of a nine-year-old boy that some seem to prefer.

Thanks to all for the wonderful pictures.

  6. I guess people are trying to be funny, but I don't get it.

One of the most beautiful and fit women I have every seen, and infantile words like "fatty" are being used.

Some people aren't happy unless models look they've just walked out of a concentration camp, or are strung out on herion, or maybe just remind them of a nine-year-old-boy.

I frankly like women who look like women.
