  1. A few Adriana scans to brighten your day.
  2. ddmscans replied to a post in a topic in Actresses
I'm not really sure what you mean. What happened with JMAZone is they were contacted by GQ and told to remove my scans because they have exclusive rights to the images. In short they were threatened. I know this because the guy who owns JMAZone sent me an e-mail and told me about it.

I wish... Those and a few more will turn up soon I'm sure.

You're quite welcome, my friend, and thatnks for the compliment.
  5. ddmscans replied to a post in a topic in Actresses
Yes. I have all of them since I did the scans. They were contacted by GQ and demanded that JMAZone remove them. If anyonr got some kind of virus from opening any of my scans it didn't come from me.

hmmm... I'll mark that as 1 in the "I like it" list.

Were gonna turn you into an Alessandra fan yet, Neo.

Well Neo said there was a thread for this lovely creature. I actually decided to scan these before I ever knew who she was. Someone made a request for the "bebe" girl and, well, here they are. 1.04 meg

I guess somebody has to start a topic for her...

Might as well post mine. Please, do not post images side by side that will equal greater than 600 pixels in width. Thank you - QBall

    This OK?

What I really like about your scans is that they are not blurry or too airbrushed. Many scanners over-filter and over-airbrush their scans so the subject looks sorta "cloudy" and plastic in the end. So...thanks! Does anyone else think that bikini is absolutely gorgeous?? I wish I were rich enough to get it.. Thanks Iris. I know what you mean. Playboy does that alot. Don't know if you saw the last Brooke Burke Playboy layout but the had her looking like she was ready to be put up in Madame Tussauds. I think where a lot of people go wrong is they wait until they've reduced the image almost to the final size before they use any kind of blur or noise reduction. I try and do most of that at full resolution, resize by half and sharpen, resize to final size and do MAYBE a "smart blur" at a very low setting (1.6 Radius, 10 Threshold) and sharpen again. Last thing to worry about is colors, brightness/contrast, and levels.
  14. Actually mines a 4 year old or so Visioneer 5800. https://visupport.visioneer.com/Portal/view...22-2bb07df3013c I scan directly into Photoshop 7 using the Import feature in Photoshop. It'll do up to 2400 dpi but most of the scans I do at 1200. Some of the VS Cat. stuff I do at 600 dpi because of the quality of the paper. The make and model don't really make much of a difference since there's only a few companies that make the actual optics for all the scanner manufacturers. What matters is the size of the bed (how big a page it will hold), the number of colors it will reproduce, and the highest dpi it will scan at. The Visioneers are good because they have good specs (colors, dpi, ect...) and are cheep. Glad you folks like the scans. Oh, and in case anyone wanted to know I didn't really have to do a lot with that after I scanned it. I used Gaussian blur to a setting of 2.0 (basically until the dots from the printing process were blended) resized it in half. Did "sharpen" at the full setting (didn't use fade any), did "sharpen edges" at full setting, resized down again to the "Extra Large" size and used "selective colors Neutral" and increased black by 5, Yellow by 2 and red by 1. Sharpened again and faded to about 75% and that's about it.
  15. I scanned this from the March Elle Magazine. Take your pick. "Regular" or "Extra Large"? lg 3025x2240 "normal"
  16. ddmscans replied to a post in a topic in Alessandra Ambrosio
OK, well this is the scan I was saying I picked to do first when I got the Swim Cat. Personally I like the Iris scan better.
  17. These are a few scans I did from the Fall clearence Cat. and wallpaper sized if you ike it that way, Images edited by valmount. Please do not post pics wider than 600pix
  18. ddmscans replied to a post in a topic in Alessandra Ambrosio
I'll be scanning a lot of them but I sometimes feel like it looks like I'm trying to "one up" someone when I post a scan I do if one has already been posted of the same pic. That's not to say I think that of others doing it, just my thoughts of myself when I do it.

JMA Zone was kind enough to put my HQ scans of the Cosmo up. Here they are. Please do not post images side by side that will equal greater than 600 pixels in width. Thank You - Capt Snow

I scanned that one from Cosmo. Don't know if that's where you did yours from.

Maybe if you used a different first name, and your correct last name, and put in the address of the house next door they'd send it and your neiibour would think "gee, they must have sent it to the wrong address" and bring you your mail.

All I did was go to the web site and click the "request the Cat." and I've recieved 4 so far.
  23. ddmscans replied to a post in a topic in Alessandra Ambrosio
I see someone has the same taste as me. That's the first one I scanned from the Cat. too.
  24. ddmscans replied to a post in a topic in Alessandra Ambrosio
I should never have posted that one. I really don't like how it came out. I like how this one came out, however.
  25. I see you ran into the same problem as me. Great mag with greeat pics but the pages are so big they don't fit on a regu;ar scanner! LOL I cut the edge off on the cover then figured it would look better for the pics on the inside to cut them in half and paste them back in Photoshop. That way I could get the whole image.
