^ Agreed, Adriana will definitely get a goodbye segment when her time comes to a close, but I doubt Ale would get one, she possibly might get a quick word or two, but VS has never taken good care of Ale in the recent years so it wouldn't be surprising if they ignored her, and isn't this Ale's last year too? (Based on the 3 year rule) Did anyone notice Doutzen, Behati and Candice are on the VS homepage for VSX? Doutzen only has one new VSX photo, hopefully more will come on it's way....and if you go VSX, there is a crazy amount of Bregje there! Pretty sure they will make her an Angel eventually.

She actually signed in 2007, months after Miranda & Marisa but she didn't walk the show because she had a previous scheduled event for L'Oreal that she couldn't get away from, but she was signed already in 2007 and she & VS agreed to wait until 2008 to introduce her as an Angel since she couldn't walk the show anyway. Plus they had just signed Miranda and Marisa so I guess didn't feel like they urgently needed to introduce Doutzen so fast. She & Miranda then both renewed in 2010 while pregnant, we know Miranda's contract expired months ago which means Doutzen's expiration date is really really really soon or it happened already but she is still contractually obligated to walk the show as it was the case with Chanel in 2011. My bad! Never knew of that! I still think they'll renew.

True to that. If anything I think VS has helped Miranda get more jobs, Miranda wasn't a HF model prior to 2007, she was more commercial doing Billabong and stuff like that, over the past 3 years she's done a lot of HF runway which she never really used to do. So in some cases VS pretty much makes a career, oh the joy of IMG and their magic! And on the topic of the girl giving birth....what even???

^ I actually think it's incorrect MissLimaVzla, wouldn't 2014 be her last year? If we are abiding to the 3 year rule, 2008+3= 2011 (add another 3 to that) = 2014 so next year would be her last year if they didn't re-negotiate. But I think they will definitely pay closer attention to her next year solely for the fact the girl will be going to Space and we all know VS loves media attention, so it seems likely that next year could be a better year for her

And does anyone think that Marisa's walk was bad? I mean when she did this walk She was basically mimicking this Angela is a good catwalker, it's just her hands needed to be tied down to her waist, letting them free into the air isn't her forte

I think last year they released the Fantasy Bra Oct 16th so hopefully something happens next week before we all drop dead out of pure boredom

I have the feeling Behati will get it and I don't like it to be honest. Yes everybody can throw the excuse "Oh yes she's been there long enough too" or "But everybody wanted her to get more attention now she's getting it", but it's just odd that she only just last year transitioned fully into mainline from PINK and she's been shoved down our throats, gee I'd understand if Candice got it because it has the slightest ounce of logic but for fucks sake, an engagement shouldn't determine whether you are worth modelling such a coveted honour. VS needs to go under serious new management ASAP

Nicola Mar is Austrian-American if she counts as the first Austrian to model for VS, she's Austrian on her father's side but I don't think there have been any full Austrian models for VS

VS really needs to stop trying to replicate their former models and try to find ones that are unique instead. Prepare for the "She looks so much like Erin!" comments and comparisons.
