Yes they were there because the GCC Brandmark was going to be award to the Narciso Rodriguez collection of Bottletop, and Candice was there also to support . According to this: @ecoage: We're in #NY to award the #gccbrandmark to the @narciso_rodriguez collection for @bottletoppers, made from Amazon friendly leather! @livia_firth with amazing support from @angelcandices #GCC2014 Awesome, wonder if anyone covered this event in HQ. LOL.

Yep your feelings were right. I had hope she'd be there, but I'm not surprised she wasn't. Maybe before posting rumors and saying you're 99.9% sure about stuff try posting a reliable source that actually has confirmation.
