I love the way she sells. No matter what whether its VS or whatever she tries her best to talk that product up! I really like that about Adriana. Most models can come across boring and as if they don't care but she really goes out of her way to make the product seem great. She looks amazing btw!

I think I just am that exception city lol here in columbus everyone watches vsfs and everyone knows Heidi, Tyra, Gisele, Dri and even some new girls like Rosie and Doutzen. I remember back during the 2008 show Doutzen was the talk of every salon, high school and my friends moms bingo hall lmao! I never hear too much about the current girls apart from Candice but here Adriana is a houshold name. Idk why and I have no reason to explain why but she just is lol

Most people in my city know her name and face and they also love the vsfs here so idk if I just live in a city that loves vs or what. I like Cara but her pink outfit did her no justice! I don't see her having a future with VS though. Maybe a pink shoot here and there. Doutzen is sexy.

Its best to be honest then to beat around the bush. Otherwise people who are new here might take the wrong impression of you If you think what I have to say is stupid that is fine. I respect that but from my understanding we can discuss what we like about VS here as long as it fights the guidlines and id hope that I could voice my opinion without being very cautiously called stupid xD but if what I have to say bothers you so much to make your IQ drop then I'll back off with posting for now. Candice, Lindsey and Erin are all Angels. Along with Adriana, Alessandra, Miranda, Doutzen, Lily and Behati. I think its safe to say Chanel is no longer an Angel. I think current VS supermodels would be Bregje, Barbara, Lais and probably people like Izabel, Toni, Karlie, Shanina, Elsa etc.

They havn't hired any blondes since. Candice, Erin and Lindsey all became Angels around the exact same time. In fact the only other girls who have even been close to angel status since have been brunette! Bregje, Barbara, Lais etc. Candice is the it blonde. I don't think vs is purposely trying to make it seem like every blonde in a campaign is Candice. What I'm saying is that since Candice is the only blonde they really get behind I'm sure a lot of average fans see any blonde and immediatly think of Candice. Which is why its stupid to have all of the blondes together all the time. It just looks like there showing Candice a million times. Us fans can see the difference but others not so much.

If anything Doutzen benifits less from that group shot. She's to special to be placed in the blonde trio of Candice, Linz and Erin. I do like the exposure she is getting as being apart of the Candice swim vid but that's just what it is..The Candice swim video. If I'm not mistaken they had a video like that last year with Candice and Adriana and it worked because both sttod out so much and can hold there own. Doutzen gets sorta washed out by Candice. Doutzen is to good for that! Why don't vs bounce blonde off brunette??? As of late its been either one or the other.

Personally I don't think vs gives a crap if the average person can tell the blondes apart. They want you to know Candice. That's the blonde vs wants you to know. That's why her name is everywhere. So when people see a blonde regardless of who it is they are going to think that is probably that blonde Candice since that's the name vs wants in housholds now. Smart for VS and Candice but to us, the fanatic fans, its stupid to market the blondes like that. That's my take on it. I do think the average person knows who Adriana is. And I'm sure some have heard the name Miranda Kerr since she's in a lot of tabloids and such. I don't think vs has a problem as of right now with the blondes because I honestly don't see any of them going mainstream anytime soon.

PR stands for press release I agree with you also about the blondes. I've never once mistaken one for another. Sometimes I don't understand how people who are active in vs threads all the time still say they can't tell Lindsey from Erin or so and so. Shouldn't you be able to by now? XD lol

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say if Doutzen doesn't get this years bra VS should give it to Lindsey! She really has stepped up her game especially at VSFS but also at interviews and PR. I think she would be a great option.

Adriana is the only reason I look forward to vsfs. But when she does leave I will still watch not for the angels but for the likes of Bregje, Lily D. aend if they still remain in the show Izabel and Isabeli. The current angels don't interest me one bit.

Adriana started working for VS in late 1998 and became an Angel in 2000. Now if my memory serves me correct she was not this huuuge sensation to where VS said yep that girl will be an Angel. She was picked to be an Angel because of her looks, ability to walk and ability to shoot for VS. Adriana didn't start getting this mass following till 2003-2004 ish. During that time she was on the lowest level of the Angel chain compared to Heidi, Tyra, Gisele and even non angel Karolina. There were times when Fernanda, Ana and Isabeli were all way more known than Adriana. They could have not kept her and pushing her during that time but they did and that's without all of these fans. Right after the following in 2004 occured Adriana was for the most part established in this business. Yes, the fans that she garnered within 2003-2005 helped her massively and your very right, they did help her with the covers/editorials. I just don't think much would be different if she didn't have as many fans. She still would have climbed to the top of VS with Alessandra. I mean who else would they promote? You do have to remember though there are fans and then there are people like us. The mega fans who follow her very very closely and post to sites like these. We make up a very small percentage of her fans. I would say less than 25%. The everyday fan of hers doesn't care if she does for her fans. They could probably care less what HF editorials she appears in because that's not why they like her. They like her for her looks. They know her from VSFS, GQ etc. So for me it's really hard to think she wouldn't have blown up simply because her look is so desirable. Like I said I do agree with you on what you say it's just I guess I have a different view of it I completely respect your views on it
