So, to summarize the theme of this thread: "This year sucked, the music sucked, too much X not enough Y, this model sucked, that model sucked, this model is getting screwed over, VS is making bad decisions, if X thing ever happens again I'm never watching the show ever again. Also I hate Candice." Do you people like anything? I thought it was fine. Not my favorite, not the worst. A few of my frieds who had never seen a VSFS before watched this one and loved it. Do you guys even like the VSFS anymore or are you just complaining to kill time?

It's The Doors "Break On Through", and while Joan is walking it's Billy Idol "Rebel Yell". VS can die.... or go bankrupt. Two of my all time favorite bands/singers being taken down to the VS level...*sighs* What? A cultural event is using music? My god, this is unheard of! And, wait--it's an event you don't particularly care for, and they're using music you love? To the dungeons with them! Calm down. If being "taken down to the VS level" is the end of the world, why are you even here? You seem pretty invested in the whole thing.

I am of the (perhaps controversial) opinion that it is far too early to say the show sucks overall. The VSFS is an event, it's not actually all about the runway, otherwise they wouldn't wait a month to air it. Until we see the full 40-minute product on December 4, we have no idea what this show is like. Also, there are a number of looks from past years that look dreadful in photos but work somehow on the runway. What do they look like in context with the rest of the segment, what do they look like in motion? Can't tell. But it's a little premature to be whining and moaning about how this year is just underwhelming.

I think it could be the same thing with Ale. It's totally possible. When you think about it, they've both been with VS for a really long time so it wouldn't be that surprising if they stop being angels sometime in the near future, though I'm hoping they might still walk a few more shows after that still, like KK did. I really think that's the case. KK's last year as an Angel was 2008, she only had 2 segments in that show (although she may have had a 3d that wasn't ready). In 09 Heidi and Selita only walked once each, and that was both of their last shows as an Angel (although Selita walked in 2010 too).

I have a thought, and I could be totally wrong but, what if Adri only got 2 looks because they're trying to phase her out? She can't work with them forever, maybe they know she's leaving soon and want to try and adjust accordingly.

Based on that one picture in the Runway thread? She might be blowing a kiss. Karlie's not dumb, I think the photographer must have just caught a bad moment. Or do you have a picture I haven't seen? I could be wrong.

I'm so agree with you! AGREED. And Barbara only got 1.... It's complete BS. Wow, you all need to calm down. I don't remember Ale getting shit treatment last year when she wore the most expensive wings ever made or this year with the Fantasy Bra, or Ale when she wore the Fantasy Bra twice and has now opened 5 shows. Karlie had 3 outfits and 2 wings last year, also. You still watched that show. It is not BS that Barbara got only one outfit. Yeah, she's worked with them and she's popular, but they actually don't have to give her anything. I would have preferred if she got 2, but she was definitely not owed it.

What a fugly outfit! BTW, isn't this the same head piece as the one Lais wore last year for the ballet segment? No, not at all.

I think it's because she's a huge up-and-comer in fashion right now. In my opinion there's no reason she shouldn't walk, she's a fine model, but they might have been mistaken to keep giving her all the attention.

That's true. New girls don't usually get 3 outfits, normally they get 1 or 2 and then maybe 3 the next year. Karlie's a bit of an anomaly in that regard.

Whether or not you like them, they are Angels, they are contracted to VS, and by you peoples' standards that means they should get priority. But they don't, and there's a long history of non-Angels getting wings or 3 outfits.

We haven't seen nearly all of them yet, anyway I like more than a few of them. There will always be some duds but it's a bit of a stretch to say they all suck. Also we haven't seen them in action yet and that sometimes makes a lot of difference.

It happened last year, it's happened before. Behati and Lily have never had 3 outfits, while multiple non-angels have. It's not new.
