I also just noticed... The rankings are based on the last 12 months and not on overall career accomplishments of goals. Alessandra Ambrosio isn't working right now, Doutzen Kroes isn't really working right now, Miranda Kerr is working some but not as much as she did before she had her baby. Basically, 6 to 10 of the top 10 models aren't even working all that often. I also noticed they left out Sara Sampaio... Sara has had just as many magazine covers as Kate Upton this year and she has signed 2 MAJOR fashion contracts... 1 with Victoria's Secret and 1 with Calzedonia. She didn't break out till a few months ago though so I'm guessing she may end up getting #2 or #3 by the end of the year based on all the covers and contracts she's been getting. Candice is also landing some crazy contract right now. She'll be #1 next year if she continues at the rate she has been going. I'm trying to figure out if you're _____, or just plain ______?. To say that a 20 year old can't compare in sexiness to an older woman while a little silly is actually quite true. Most 20 year old's can't pump out sexy like an older mature woman because they still come across as a bit childish. So yes, I think Kate and all her fans should be quite ecstatic that she's pushed up to number 5, especially considering her portfolio isn't as extensive as some of the other models. Also, Sara, may very well be working, but it's doubtful she will ever make that list, because her VS contract is practically obsolete, as much as I don't want to say it, she is, and will probably always be a pale, poor man's version of Adriana Lima in VS's eyes. Also, since when is Calzedonia a huge contract? Michea had it, and she's barely working as a model, Perhaps, you should pull your head out of the sand and take a look at the real world without the rose colored glasses coloring your judgement. If you're not a fan of the model then______, plain and simple. God I knew there was a reason I blocked you a while back, I just couldn't remember why. Reason now verified, I hate self entitled _____. I never said I wasn't a fan... I agree with Forbes recent decision to remove Kate from the list of Highest Paid fashion models though. Since 99.9% of Kate's current fame and income is coming from avenues that are NOT related to the fashion industry (youtube videos or sporting events) so they opted not to include her in the list of fashion models. I think Kate should be moved to the "Other Females Of Interest" category because she is more in line with Kim Kardashian. I do like Kate but I think people need to stop labeling her as something she is not.

Most of the models on that list have also recently given birth or have given birth to multiple children and have had to take time off from modeling. I'd like to see Kate give birth to a baby like Miranda Kerr did and we'll see if her body still looks as good as Miranda after...

Given her awards and the fact she is headlining Calzedonia and now working with Victoria's Secret... She'll get promoted very quickly. She's already got multiple jobs with companies on multiple continents and her fame is only starting...

I totally agree. It's the same thing over and over and over and over and over again. Kate is really sexy but she doesn't have the versatility that a lot of other fashion models have. She's pleasing to the guys that want stimulating material but she fails to deliver anything that is artistic. I love her, I really do, I think I've given up all hope of her someday becoming a true fashion model though.

It is me or has she not done much stuff in America? I see she has a lot of international stuff but it's almost like she's been snubbed from the American Market. Maybe Treats! will send her an offer...
Once upon a time the term "superstar" was applied only to the women that could venture into all the different realms of the fashion industry but today's market has lost its way and we apply the "superstar" label to someone like Kate Upton simply because she looks good in a bikini. Thankfully Emily is here to change all that... She's quickly reminding us that "looking good in a bikini" is only part of the equation.

Has anyone seen photos of her from the CFDA Fashion Awards? She looked insanely hot in her black dress but I haven't seen the photos posted anywhere but like 1 or 2 sites and they didn't have many to post...
Wow! Kate Upton is supposedly the biggest fashion model in the world but she only managed to land a role in The Three Stooges. A Good Day To Die Hard is a major blockbuster and that puts her a whole level above anything Kate has done so far...

According to 6 different websites I checked... Both sets of photos are her. I don't know if it's true but they all claim they were taken at different times and at different places. One set was the topless sunbathing pics and the other set showed her wearing a pink bikini.

Why are you posting this in the Kate Upton forum? Kate Upton is NOT a Victoria's Secret model and it's already been announced that she won't be allowed to walk the runway at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. The only photoshoot Kate did for Victoria's Secret was done as part of her contract with Sports Illustrated. Victoria's Secret didn't like her and they decided not to re-sign her after she did the initial photoshoot.
If more girls published videos of themselves dancing around in a bikini they would score millions of views too. Most girls don't behave that way though. I'm not trashing Kate, just stating that most girls have a little more class and most fashion models WOULD NEVER tarnish their career by posting those types of videos.
That means she did the shoot in Miami then. All the other models have been brought to more exotic locations but Kate was in Miami last week so the photoshoot must've been done there. I think I'll skip this issue because I'm not looking forward to seeing bikini models posing with air filled tubes... Seems kinda pointless...
Actually, I believe these are from the photoshoot from 2012. She released a see-through photo from 2012 a few weeks ago too. You are right though, Kate has been in Miami and NYC and she hasn't done shooting for 2013 yet.
No but it does show her nipples! The videos that got puller were for Culcci and they were published on Vimeo. It was an actual "jeans" ad for Culcci.
Whats funny is that I didn't see much nipple action in the 2 minute behind the scenes video but you can see her nipple throughout most of the actual 30 second commercial. I'm guessing it was a screw-up but I've seen so many fashion commercials with nudity that I just figured they intended for everyone to see her nipples...
