0hh i see.. I once went " Adriana Lima searching " in nyc. I spent all day looking for her in manhattan and Queens. Unluckly for me i didn't find her. I'm gonna go try to find her on tuesday hehe i can really understand u because i want to meet adriana too but it's not right. if you are only going out to search for adriana you are very close to a stalker.. it's adris personal life and she choose her friends for herself and not the other way round. fact is that the adri fans will never be a part of her personal life and we have to respect that. go to a official event if u want to meet her or have immense luck and meet her when you are shopping but dont search for her. imagine you were adriana.... (hope u can understand what i want to tell you :| ) I completely agree with you Dazz. I could start writing about what I think about looking around for her but I'll only end up repeating what Dazz just said. If you go here theres a good bit written about looking around for her at the market and it's basically what I would say. I LOVE Adriana too and I would love to meet her as much as anybody in this forum (maybe even more than some people I might say) but I just don't think it's right to go around searching for her I really hope that I'm not coming across as mean

OH MY GOSH!!! That's so amazing! That's such a life altering a event and a really personal issue and it must have been so hard for her to deal with that. Her forgiving her father must have been very difficult and it must have taken a lot of strength to do but she's probably happier now that she has a relationship with him. Wowwww, so many emotional things she must have ben dealing with. Adri is such a strong woman *sigh* Love her foreverrrrrrr

Let's see: Check marks for A Perfect Circle, Aiden, Bullet for my Valentine, Coheed and Cambria, Dropping Daylight, Eighteen Visions, Flyleaf, All that Remains and As I Lay Dying. That Flyleaf CD has been growing on me and I missed Bullet for my Valentine in concert a few weeks ago but I was there for Chevelle. Let's add another one to the list then: The Dreaming. They haven't exactly had a wide release yet but they have been together for four years and they've had a few EPs out that I've been listening to. Chris Hall of the late Stabbing Westward is on vocals. I doubt anyone has heard of The Dreaming. Do you mind if I tell my friend to check The Dreaming out? I dunno, some people get really protective over the bands they listen to and they wanna keep it on the hush hush because they like being the only one who's heard of them...

Exactly. Yup, I agree with you completely. Thats why I said that emo is very trendy. Theres always some sort of style or way of living for teenagers that is believed to be very anticonformist because it's "different" but at the end of the day it's something so trendy. A lot of teenagers want to be different from all the rest and they choose to follow the emo trend because they can say that they they're unique but they won't get a lot of slack for being so different because so many other people out there are doing it. When I say it like that it seems so stupid but tonnes of people still do it. They want to be unique and special but they still want to fit in and be accepted. That's what the people who are trying to "fit" do and then the people who are really authentic land up getting stereotyped. It's not good in my opinion

I also thought that this was a guess ad when I first saw it but when I saw it at it's full size there wasn't a doubt in my mind that it wasn't a guess photo.

Most people have really negative opinions about emo music. At least all the people I know. I have some of The Used and a lot of Alexisonfire on my iPod and as soon as people see it they go "Oh ew! Emo!!" They've probably never even heard most of the stuff but they immediatly go ew because everyone I know hates everything emo. I think that they hate it because for the most part everything emo is really trendy. Some might beg to differ from me, and sure there are authentic emos out there (like those bands that have been out forever, like The Used), but a lot of emo music is SOOOO pop music. Well, I like Alexisonfire and there's a lot of throat in it when Dallas isn't singing (which is often) so I guess I don't mind screamo personally. Anywayyyy, I voted Pop
