  1. Can't say I get the twig-thong, but when you're Russell James I guess you don't have to explain yourself. As he did with the Miranda scans, Nebula at In The Raw has taken some time out of his day to clean up a few of the Erin scans. They can be found on his blog: http://itr2010.org/2010/10/20/erin-heather...james-hq-scans/

Hah, never thought of it like that. Glad you enjoyed them.

So Erin never really stood out to me before in VS commercials, but, man, does Russell James ever know how to win a man's affections. Erin has some of the most captivating head shots in the whole book. Hopefully these scans are a bit cleaner than the Miranda ones. Nebula has finished cleaning up the scans. They are much, much better looking now. They are all available here: http://itr2010.org/2010/10/19/miranda-kerr...james-hq-scans/

So these had been up on photographer Walter Iooss's website for most of the year, but I never got around to posting them. I noticed a few days ago that they have mysteriously disappeared, so there is no time like the present. It's definitely a lot to take in the first time around, and the poor scan-quality certainly doesn't do any favors. I'll admit that the straight up butt shots are a little weird to see, but once you get past the almost voyeuristic nature you become a little more comfortable with it. As for the questions about the rest of the book, it features Miranda (duh), Brooklyn Decker, Candice Swanepoel, Erin Heatherton, Emanuela de Paula, Jarah Mariano, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, and Lindsay Ellingson. I'll be scanning the rest as I get around to it--hopefully over the next couple of days--and posting them to their respective threads. Even though I originally picked up the book because of my infatuation for Brooklyn, I have to say that I scanned Miranda's shoot first because it really blew me away. I can't emphasize enough how worthwhile the book is for any Russell James or Victoria's Secret fan. Russell is selling it through his website (https://russelljames.myshopify.com/products/russell-james-v2) for a very reasonable price (provided you don't get it personalized). At the very least getting it delivered to your home will save you from the very judgmental look I received from the old lady at Barnes and Nobel that checked me out. My guess is she didn't know who Russell was, and she didn't much approve of the sexy photo of Brooklyn on the cover.

Nebula of In The Raw (http://itr2010.org/) is currently working on cleaning up the scans. You can check his blog to see his progress (nsfw/nudity, obviously), and I'll see what he thinks about tossing the finished product back on the forum once he's done. Thanks for all the thanks. Figured it was the least I could do for this awesome forum.

So here's the story: I have a crappy scanner, so I tend not to scan things, but somehow the internet seems shockingly devoid of scans from Russell James's V2 book. I've done my best to rectify that problem, but I have to say that my cheap (and undersized--images are unceremoniously cropped) scanner really does not do Russell and Miranda's work justice. If you've been thinking of picking up the book, you should definitely do so, if for no other reason than to see these photos without the horrific scan lines of my all-in-one from hell. The images are all very large (2-4mb), though quality is so-so: Warning: Nudity http://www.imagebam.com/image/879395102950301 (Try not to faint) http://www.imagebam.com/image/d470cb102950317 http://www.imagebam.com/image/77c389102950333 http://www.imagebam.com/image/12b6fe102950345 http://www.imagebam.com/image/ef9fec102950381 http://www.imagebam.com/image/67132e102950419 http://www.imagebam.com/image/848c29102950451 http://www.imagebam.com/image/be932a102950481 http://www.imagebam.com/image/33f451102950523 http://www.imagebam.com/image/d2141e102950552 Source: Russell James's V2, Personal Scans

I mentioned in the Miranda thread that Vanity Fair Italy has acquired some additional behind-the-scenes images from the Pirelli Calendar 2010 shoot. Here are the images that feature Marloes: Warning: Nudity http://www.imagebam.com/image/f3354b102938723 http://www.imagebam.com/image/52dc4b102938728 http://www.imagebam.com/image/0e7a7c102938730 http://www.imagebam.com/image/8f0cef102938733 Nothing too shocking for anyone who has seen the video or previous images, but fun nonetheless. Source: style.it Edit: Images should be up now. I used imagebam since they have no problem with nudity, but unfortunately that also means some adult adverts. If anyone has a "cleaner" host suggestion I'd be willing to give it a shot.

Also, a question for the Miranda faithful: I was perusing imageshack when I came upon this image of Miranda I had never seen. Anyone know what photoshoot/magazine this was from?

New Pirelli outtake from the Vanity Fair Italy website. There are 10 new Pirelli Cal 2010 behind-the-scenes shots in all (actually I think one of the Marloes Horst shots was already released, but whatever), though this is the only one in which Miranda is clearly visible. And it would be their choice to do so. For a celebrity, they would have stories of their miscarriage all over the media. Imagine trying to get over such a thing while people are publishing stories and asking for interviews.

To be fair to Brooklyn, Andy is pretty much the closest thing to a "trophy husband" as you can get. It's not like he's a doctor or a lawyer; he's an attractive professional athlete. And as a successful model, I'm sure Brooklyn has enough money to buy herself shiny things even if she wasn't with Roddick.

I don't see it posted anywhere, but I might just be blind. In any case, GQ has put up some outtakes on it's site (mainly those found on the app that another poster uploaded) as well as a video of the shoot. Pics: http://www.gq.com/women/photos/201006/mira...-photos#slide=1 Video: http://www.gq.com/video?videoID=91374134001 I assume this is the same video from the iPhone App, but since I don't have the app so I am not certain. Can anyone confirm it is the same video?

If you get that to work that would be quite exciting, Vamp. That would certainly save me the trouble of picking up a Touch in the near future (okay, I wasn't really going to buy one just for some Miranda action, but it was certainly tempting!). This trend of exclusive content is really starting to rub me the wrong way. I'd gladly pay for the app, but they don't allow you to run the apps in iTunes. I had a similar annoyance over the Sports Illustrated content for the PSP/PS3. They have a media player for the computer, and you can pay for the video, but you cannot view the video without plugging a PSP into your computer. Frustrating. Anyway, enough ranting. If you manage to pull the video off, it would be greatly appreciated, so thanks in advance! Also, thank you Fantasy for the app images. To think I was never much of a fan of tan lines until very recently...

Man, that sandwich shot is so trashy. Then again, it is Terry. Other than that it looks like they had a good time.

Just watched the full interview on my DVR. She was so cute and endearing and yet the audience seemed really uncomfortable through the whole thing. It was like they didn't realize when she was kidding, as if they assumed she was too dumb to be making the jokes she was. At least she got a few laughs during the Andy story. Edit: On a second watch, maybe I imagined some of it. Anyway, SI really couldn't ask for a better spokeswoman right now. She certainly gives a good interview.
  24. bconk35 replied to meidude's post in a topic in Female Fashion Models
The 'nipples are evil' photoshopping is really distracting in this otherwise fantastic shot. I really don't get why SI insists on shooting shear clothing only to make the photo look ridiculous with the eraser like editing. Anyway, I wish they had done some more interesting shots, but Brooklyn looks fantastic anyway, not that there was any doubt that she would.

If you're referring to the shot of the cover where the face was covered, that is the 2008 cover with Marisa. That being said, I would still put money on Brooklyn. Letterman will be revealing the cover tonight at 11:30 EST for those interested, and he will have an interview with the cover model (fingers crossed) tomorrow night.
