Maybe it's a dumb question, but is this the final quality of this ed? Because it kinda looks as if it's been photographed and then uploaded. But I'm not sure whether this isn't just the way this editorial looks.

I'm fine with all the rumors that suppose Candice might be a devious and calculating bitch. But this "racist rumor" is just bullshit and offensive in addition, I'm sorry. You know, if she had in fact said or done something racist, then these rumor would be justified. However, these rumors are merely based on the fact that she's white and from South Africa, Mooi River in particular. I'm well aware that there a huge racism issues in South Africa, but despite that not every single citizen is a racist. Quite the contrary: It's racist to assume that somebody is racist just because of their heritage. I'm from Germany and I know what it's like to be always stigmatized as racist simply due to my nationality. That's why I have a low opinion of such baseless accusations. And even if Candice did make fun of Adriana's accent, I think it was not because she's racist. I mean, her long-term boyfriend is from Brazil, she learned Portuguese and always spends a lot of time there. A little bit too much love for a country she allegedly despises, isn't it? So if she made fun of Adriana's accent, then because people draw on every feature the hated nemesis can offer. You simply clutch at every straw if you want to paint somebody's name black. (Especially if there isn't really something to pick on...)

Why should this shock anyone? Of course they just show in public what their boss is telling them to. They just promote an image (a "fantasy") and nothing more. But I think it's too easy to say that their just divas. Or let's say each of them is a diva due to different reasons. Some of them might be simply delusional, but behind of the huge ego of some models is hiding a little child with inferiority complex. But well, I never thought that you could explain someones psyche with one single word. At the end of the day, I think celebs don't need to be saints. And well, the idea that Candice might be a cold and calculating bitch with self-esteem issues just made her more interesting. :brows: I mean, come one, it's more exciting than what VS tries to sell us...

I also don't think that she's full of herself. I think it's the exact opposite. She always puts herself under pressure, because she thinks she's not good enough. That's why she tries so hard to look sexy all the time etc. And of course, it's no excuse to treat other people disrespectfully, but it is the reason why she behaves that way. Well, at least I guess so. And yes, I think every person is "hot and cold", even dangerous criminals have both sides
