Berlusconi: I want Ron at AC Milan AC MILAN are weighing up a summer swoop for Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. The Serie A club’s owner — controversial Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi — claims he will do whatever it takes to bring the former Manchester United forward to the San Siro. He said: “I want Cristiano Ronaldo. I dream of having him in our team. I want to buy a champion who can make a real difference.” Berlusconi is a huge fan of Ronaldo and was seen consoling him following United’s defeat to Barcelona in the 2009 Champions League final. Ronaldo moved to Madrid in a world record £80million switch two summers ago, but Berlusconi has told Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani to do whatever it takes to sign him. Berlusconi added: “I have given carte blanche to Galliani.” Milan are currently top of the Italian league — three points ahead of second place Napoli with seven games to play.
