I like metal of all forms. I love Pantera, Slayer, BLS, old Metallica. I also dig Emperor, Mayhem, Darkthrone. And Deicide, Cannibal Corpse, old Napalm Death. What else? Slipknot, Mudvayne, Killswitch Engage, some Korn. I even dig old glam stuff. So yeah...metal of all forms. I'm not really into nu-metal, not my thing. What are you into?

They were one of the grandfathers of metal. Along with Black Sabbath and Deep Purple. IMHO.

Like Phil said, I think the media had some part in this. It's a damn shame they wouldn't let Phil in, the "fued" should've just went with Dime. Unfortunately it didn't.
