GET YOUR PLANE RIGHT ON TIME Today I filmed Naleye Junior Dolmans for my One Minute project. He is such a great character and so easy to film. His spontaneity and improvisation are great assets. After I recorded all the scripted sequences I took the opportunity to test my newly acquired Yashica FR. These are the shots that I took of Naleye while we were off-duty and it's immediately some fresh (Amsterdam) streetstyle.

Style Snap: Jessi M’Bengue by ALISON BAENEN Jessi M’Bengue (Ford Women) The Goods M’Bengue’s been partial to these Cheap Monday jeans since shooting the Swedish label’s campaign three years ago. “I’ve been rocking them ever since. They’re the most comfortable pair ever.” The rest of her look is a classic Model-Off-Duty mix of high/low. Her vintage fur coat was a gift from her dad (awww), while her perfectly simple white top and galactic-hued scarf hail from Topshop and Urban Outfitters, respectively. M’Bengue’s crocodile tote was a splurge from Liberty of London, but as M’Bengue’s self-proclaimed “model bag,” one she can dress up or down and carry everywhere, it’s a purchase she says she’ll never regret. The Dirty Dozen We took a shine to M’Bengue’s rocker chic boots but couldn’t help noticing one looked a little more distressed than the other. Turns out M’Bengue’s boyfriend doused one in bleach during a lover’s quarrel, resulting in a sun-streaked look. M’Bengue got him back. “I put an egg in his shoe,” she told us matter-of-factly. The DNA M’Bengue’s mom is a Algerian and her father is Ivorian-Senegalese. A professional nomad, M’Bengue respects her worldly roots by calling her suitcase home.
