  3. I hope there's more I need to get that magazine!!
  4. Leonardo DiCaprio: Everyone knows Titanic Leonardo DiCaprio will always be linked to his Titanic character as “even the naked indigenous people” in the Amazon recognise him. The 37-year-old has come to terms with the fact that he is best known for playing Jack Dawson in the hit 1997 film. Leonardo has taken on many big parts since the movie with lead roles in Catch Me If You Can, Aviator, The Departed and Blood Diamond but knows he will never let go of Jack. “It's not that Jack Dawson follows me in my dreams, but I am aware that I can never fully get rid of this role,” he told the German edition of InStyle magazine. “I have travelled to the Amazon and even the naked indigenous people knew Titanic. So I have got used to it". Leonardo added he is not particularly interested about the upcoming release of Titanic in 3D. The star has been promoting the biopic J. Edgar lately, which was directed by Clint Eastwood. He put on a few pounds for the role as the controversial first director of the FBI thanks to his love of German chocolate cake. His next big role is playing Jay Gatsby in the adaption of The Great Gatsby, which is in the process of being filmed. --- Thanks Barbie, Ox and Princess for the news
  5. DiCaprio: I don’t party anymore Leonardo DiCaprio claims that he has put his partying days behind him. The 37-year-old Titanic star admits he used to let loose in his twenties but he is no longer interested. Leonardo is now committed to focusing on his work, including his recent lead role in Clint Eastwood’s J.Edgar. "I don't do that much partying anymore as I used to when I was in my twenties,” he told the March issue of German magazine InStyle. “Plus, it would be crazy to come to a set of a film with a director like Clint Eastwood with a hangover." While he admits to partying in his youth, Leonardo vows he never let it get in the way of work. His commitment to acting started from a young age and he has revealed that his mother was a great support. "My German mother Irmelin was never a pushy mom,” he said. “She just listened to me and refrained from laughing when this arrogant child told her why they want to become an actor at all costs. She was also extremely excited when I got nominated for my first Oscar at the age of 18." Leonardo was nominated for a best supporting actor Academy Award for his role in the 1993 movie What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. He has also received seven Golden Globe Award nominations and was named best actor at the Globes for his performance as Howard Hughes in the 2004 film The Aviator

Bar Refaeli Would Shave Her Head If She Could Bar Refaeli is no stranger to over-the-top runway hairstyles, but there’s one look she hasn’t tried yet. “I would like to go ballsy one time and shave my head, but only if someone would promise me that I could take a pill and grow my hair back in one day,” the model told InStyle.com at Elton John’s Academy Awards viewing party last week. “But then I can’t do fashion dares like that if no one promises me that I can go back to normal.” Anything is possible!

  8. Oh Barilace, you could literally bump into him! Welcome back, Nanda! Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet's Titanic Blockbuster Almost Sunk New Drama New show's producer revealed he thought film had 'said it all' The producer of ITV's new drama Titanic, Nigel Stafford-Clark has admitted that the 1997 movie blockbuster of the same name, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, almost left plans to capture the disaster in a new drama, languishing at the bottom of the ocean. Speaking to us at a press conference for the drama, Nigel said: “I felt that James Cameron [the film's director] had pretty much said it all... and then I suddenly thought, actually there is a way of doing this and it hasn’t been done before, and it’s something that I would be really interested in doing.” The iconicness of the Kate Winslet film almost meant the new Titanic drama didn't happen. With Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes on board, the new drama aims to be a very different take on the century old story, and the creators have shunned the stars of the film in making the TV series. The pair have high hopes that the new show will capture a part of the story that Cameron's film missed. Stafford-Clark said “I mean Cameron was basically making a love story and then the most amazing hour long special effects movie. This would be the almost polar opposite of that, this would be a whole lot of stories of different people from different parts of society and they would weave in and out of each other.” The film, which won 11 Oscars and grossed $1.8 billion worldwide, is set for release in 3D next month, with the TV series also debuting in April. We can't wait to see it!

  13. Leonardo DiCaprio and girlfriend Erin Heatherton celebrate liquor launch in L.A. Leonardo DiCaprio and his girlfriend, Erin Heatherton, got top-shelf treatment at Rande Gerber’s rum launch. Gerber and his wife, Cindy Crawford, dropped everything when the actor and his Victoria’s Secret Angel arrived around midnight at the Stone Rose bar in West Hollywood, where the nightlife impresario and partner Roberto Serralles unveiled their Caliche Rum. A roped-off VIP table was also rid of its occupants, so that DiCaprio and Heatherton could have the perch all to themselves where they made out and had a drink. Speaking of DiCaprio, Hollywood insiders are still talking about the actor’s absence from the pre-Oscar party that Vanity Fair and watchmaker Richard Mille threw at the Bel Air Hotel in honor of filmmaker Martin Scorsese’s honor on Feb. 24. We hear that DiCaprio was actually staying in the hotel, so it wouldn’t have been too much of an inconvenience to show up for the director who put him in so many movies. A spokesman for DiCaprio says our source is mistaken. He explains that DiCaprio was working with a writer and the "Hugo" director right before the party. "Leo talked to Marty who told him to keep working and skip the party," says the rep. http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/leonardo...3#ixzz1oFOl2rbW
  14. Claire Danes Loves Married Life CLAIRE Danes says being married makes her feel more secure. The actress — who tied the knot with British star Hugh Dancy in 2009 — credits her husband with keeping her happy. “My mom Carla taught me that a long marriage can work. My parents have been together since they were 18 so I am privileged to have them as role models,” she said. “I like marriage. I feel very secure. It helps when you are in love with the person you are married to. “I do sometimes look at him and think, ‘You are really handsome.’ He keeps me sane and happy.” Claire also explained she turned down Kate Winslet‘s Oscar nominated role in Titanic because she needed some time apart from leading man Leonardo DiCaprio after they worked on Romeo and Juliet together. “Is it true I turned down Titanic? Yes,” she said. “I have no regrets. I had just made a film with Leonardo DiCaprio in Mexico City for five months and I was very tired. It would have been ridiculous to do another sweeping romantic epic with Leo. “I would never have been able to get away from him. He’s a lovely man and a great actor but we needed time apart by then.”
  15. Finally filming Django? I hope it's true!!!!

Thank you once again Lucy More of the Sony-lawsuit: Bar Refaeli: My modesty was not protected The model is suing Ilan Ben Dov's Suny Samsung phone importer in the Tel Aviv District Court for breach of con Bar Refaeli today took the witness stand in the Tel Aviv District Court in her suit against Ilan Ben Dov-controlled Suny Electronics Ltd. (TASE: SUNY), the authorized Israeli importer of Samsung mobile phones. She is suing Suny for NIS 4.4 million for breach of contract relating to a 2006 video clip. "We encountered cheats and crooks," Refaeli testified, referring to Suny executives. She said that her reputation was important to her, and that while she earns a living from her name, the case was not only about money. "Reputation is not something that is necessarily built around money. I do things for free to build my reputation. The fact that we're talking here about business is not just related to money, but also to my image." Refaeli sued Suny in March 2009. She contends that Suny used her image and pictures for purposes not stated in her contact with the company, when it aired live the advertising pictures without her consent. "The pictures were aired without any editing to protect modesty or dignity," she said. Refaeli contends that the advertisement was also aired in cinemas without her consent and that an attempt was made to photograph text messages sent to her. She says that the contract explicitly stipulates that Suny could not use the name of her partner at the time, Leonardo DiCaprio, but that Suny announced on billboards that the ad clip was with him and that a scene shows her receiving a call from him.
