Russell’s Silver Linings Playbook last month, and following this afternoon’s announcement that the film will be making its world debut at the Toronto International Film Festival this September, we’ve now got a new look at the two leading stars, Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper. Both Lawrence and Cooper have of course had something of a meteoric rise in recent years, with Cooper taking off tremendously with The Hangover and everything since, and Lawrence of course making a name for herself in The Hunger Games earlier this year. Starring alongside them will be Julia Stiles, Robert De Niro, Jacki Weaver, and Chris Tucker. “Life doesnt always go according to planPat Solatano has lost everything — his house, his job, and his wife. He now finds himself living back with his mother and father after spending eight months is a state institution on a plea bargain. Pat is determined to rebuild his life, remain positive and reunite with his wife, despite the challenging circumstances of their separation. All Pat’s parents want is for him to get back on his feet – and to share their family’s obsession with the Philadelphia Eagles football team. When Pat meets Tiffany, a mysterious girl with problems of her own, things get complicated.
