Oh yeah, I am pretty sure if Adriana was less attractive or wasn't as big as she was popularity and fame wise people wouldn't give her such a hard time when it comes to her as a model. But like you said, its more out of bitterness than logic.

Nah, she has been doing that long enough lol. Even with all this respectable work for the past two years people still can't get pass her being a big sexy model lol. Over 10 years of it, and she has broken records with it and she is older now, I think she should continue with what she has been doing. Plus she is still with VS, there is always that. You get sexiness every once in a while. I think her sex symbol status is solidified though. If it wasn't people wouldn't have such a hard time respecting her as a model because she actually has accomplished alot and doesn't have a generic career but her being seen as such a sex symbol give people what they think is open space to down play who she is as a model.

She is evolving so much lol.

I think because she looks so nice people want her to just go all out so bad because it would be overwhelming..slayage. But yeah the dress wasn't bad exactly just not up to par with the her looks and hair and makeup. If it was that bad she wouldn't shine as much as she did. I think she is one of the most talked about celebs that went there and def one of the most talked about models. If not the most talked about one because alot of models were there and I didn't even know it lol and there aren't as many pictures of them. The makeup highlighted how nice her face is. Its not only pretty but its seriously one of the most flawless. From the eyes, to the nose, the lips.

I think even adriana herself didn't even like the met dress lol. She posted it on instagram and deleted and posted basically just her makeup and hair. Which was good. They really did save her and the fact that she with with something different than whats usual for her

lmao^ she probably didn't want to cut them esp since her hair is so long now. But yeah, people do like the way she looks. esp from the neck up. She's just beautiful

Alot of people actually look similar to this. I also think the chinese bangs is to contribute to that. People either look dark or have some chinese bangs.
  10. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
    Lmao really? The irony lol
  11. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
are you talking about adriana's Chinese bangs
  12. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
I meant the point of the post she posted... the point is he beats women and shouldn't. She agrees and I think that is a point and a good one. And don't talk to me if you don't think so. Yeah she's passionate alright. All those people who didn't know sure does know now. I am hoping for her that mayweather or somebody like 50 cent don't decide to respond to that. She will not live that down.
  13. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
No she deleted it at first. She posted that pic of her in the robe and then reposted what she said. What makes this bad imo is this isn't the right time to talk about that. She has a point but it doesn't have anything to do with this fight. Its petty. Bring it up when it is appropriate. Don't do just because you are mad the person you like didn't win... in a sense someone can argue that she really didn't care that floyd beats women and she uses a serious issue like that as retaliation because he won a boxing match. I don't think that is right.
  14. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
nevermind. Whats really absurd is what she is doing now lol. never uses social media like that and when she does, she does one of the most stupidest thing. over something that isn't that big of a deal
  15. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
She deleted it. Thank god. she doesn't want to have beef with somebody like him lol. I don't even care what other people think but he will hurt adriana's feelings if he ever saw that and if she kept it lol
  16. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
I hope she deletes that.. The first post is enough. And then she mentioned him. Smh.
  17. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
I think because people thought she was where she filmed for h&m when she is actually in miami
  18. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
Yeah they said she was the belle of the ball. And on alot of social media just random people posted her looked and praised her. It had to be the face and hair that made people go crazy lol. I know she is one of the most liked models but still how did she avoid getting slandered or how others didn't have as much hype for their look is surprising
  19. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
I liked the hair and makeup. I never even look at what she is actually wearing because I know I won't like it lol. So she looked good to me. I agree that Irina's look over all was better but for some reason Adriana got all the attention for her look. Media wise she was it. I think its because she is a stunning model though.. so, even if her dress wasn't the best her beauty saves her. I am numb to her bad styling at this point and it seems like the media is too lol. I don't think she should have put her hair up. For one, its very long. And thats the looks she always does. And people always complain. Especially with that red lipstick, I know alot of people would be like "its always the same hair slick back and makeup" on top of her dress already not being cute. Its good that she was different and I think thats the reason why she got so much hype with her appearance.

It's a children's hospital. Were they going to send out a healthy one? Have you ever been apart of or seen a program when a figure like her comes and someone is chosen to speak and be apart of it on behalf of the other children. I have. it happens all the time. It happens at schools. But this a children's hospital. They are going to have somebody to represent all the rest of them. And you can't expect a healthy child when it is a hospital You are so hostile you aren't being logical. I don't think you are one to talk about bad taste. I mean the initial issue with you, the first thing you said was it wasn't alot to donate. 22k was not enough. If you were genuine about your point someone like you should know that stuff doesn't have a limit and shouldn't matter much. But it did to you. You are no better than the point you are making.
  22. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
How do you know it's none? Just because not everyone takes a photo with huge check doesn't mean that people don't donate money or do good in this world. You obviously didn't read the last three things I said. You are out of your mind if you think not being seen doing more good in the world is going to get you more respect than it being seen. And eventually it will always been seen. So basically, PR. You just confirmed exactly what I wrote at the beginning. IWC doing things so that public can applaud them for being so "generous". $22k from a multibillion dollar company. *standing ovation* All i know is you wouldn't be doing it if it were someone else Guess we'd have to wait for an entire analysis of charity work done by people you care for and judge the amount of donation they give. Whenever that actually happens. Until then continue to love them all the same, and analyze the photos we see of them doing everything but this, analyze their vacation and work photos or them walking down a street. And just continue to give shit to those who are seen helping someone else out. Judge them by the amount they give, turn it into a bad thing and just ignore what they actually did to help. Seen it all before.

And eventually it will always been seen. People who are seen doing it. Get credit for doing it. And get known for doing it. Those who don't, simply do not. You can not just assume that. You can't say somebody did something if you don't see not one hint of it.
  24. Souled-Out replied to Neo52285's topic in Adriana Lima
Because it's a PR event for IWC. And a cheap one. "The greatest form of giving is anonymous to anonymous" Jay-Z's song Nickles and Dimes. What is everybody else doing? Better one than none at the end of the day. Something good is still coming out of this, and you can't deny that. They don't have to do it. They don't need the PR that bad. They have Adriana working for them. They could hire someone like Gisele if they are that greedy for PR. And its not like adriana was all over social media just throwing it in people's faces that while everybody else is just living their rich life, she is using her name for good things. So it does not matter, this didn't have to happen. And it doesn't happen much anymore. People are happy of Adriana for being apart of it, esp since she is not the only face for them. You don't see alot of models doing this. It should be praised. You can say everybody else is doing stuff we just don't know about it. But we always find out when these people are doing charity work. Always. "what is done in the dark will come to the light" The bible. You need it. Because this shouldn't even be a thing.

According to Google, that is $22779.45. Not much of a donation from such a wealthy company. And personally, I despise those big-ass checks. It's just in bad taste. Not much of donation but what are some of these other doing? Better one than none. And there is alot of "none" going on today with this industry. A library for a children's hospital opened. That is a good thing.
