I suspected she wasn't going to do givenchy because she wasn't apart of the campaign this year nor did he dress her for the met like last time. She working on losing weight. l quickly too.. I suspect its for something that is happening soon ... I hope she makes it to a fashion week this season

Yeah, I hope I didn't seem like I was trying to be mean or bite your head off, I just honestly thinks that what it is. You prefer her old HF kind of work, I feel like alot of people don't. I The harder she tries the better people accept her HF. And honestly I am not a biggie on HF, just certain models lol and even though I found the "faults" in her old HF work, I still liked it. I think as fans we are already accepting at what she brings to the table. We wouldn't be fans if we didn't enjoy what she has done in the past. So its normal to not like the change and think the old work is better. But, after years hearing why people don't like it, looking at models who are more notorious in fashion, and seeing how those models model compared to not only adriana but other VS models who people give shit for in HF. Ironically they too relied more on their natural beauty. Which makes them awesome for commercial. Thats why Adriana is still killing it when it comes to commercial. Thats why I don't think she lost her modelling skill. She changes what she needs to. Its just she has barely been with VS, so you haven't seen much commercial. Her VS swim special picturesshowed she still had it. Just With HF people are more anal than others and perception is more important. And I agree maybe Adriana or her people caught on to it too. I understand the change sucks but if she is going to leave VS, she has to find change in areas she isn't the strongest. lets be honest Adriana was no fashion darling. She will be doing more of that work once she leaves. I love her but I think modelling like she use to won't cut it. look at the other VS models like her who models in HF the way she use to and gets crap for their HF too. She's killing them all as well as her old self lol. Landing covers she never got and covers that are hard to get but prestigious in fashion But like Is said, as people who already liked adriana before her career began to expand so much I can see why it pisses you off LOL. I genuinely like the cover, its better than something like her vogue italia where she obviously depended on her natural beauty(for the actual editorial she didn't) but for the cover even fans on facebook were saying she should have tried harder on her facial expression for that cover... and I am accepting period because she may be better off than if she didn't change and I want to see her around longer. Her agency has to try hard to make her seem good for HF or she won't be that respected as a model. I don't want her to be a glorified lingerie model lol. I want her to have something better

Honestly IMO this is the best Adriana has done for Vogue. I guess you are a bigger fan of how she use to be, but I feel like how she use to be is the reason why it took so long for people to respect her as a model. I perfer this adriana. I prefer all the work. And I prefer covers likes this. Where she not only looks beautiful but on that cover, its a still shot but there is alot of movement going on. She isn't as, dare I say stiff like she use to be. I think you are a fan of Adriana using her natural beauty for things but I think that has always been the problem. Thats why people constantly said she is better for VS than HF. And its because for VS when you look as good as her, you can use your natural beauty and not have to do different poses and stuff, but for things like this modelling like that is why people complain. And I think its understandable because HF is more than just about the looks. Looking at her past stuff she barely tried and as nice looking as she is, it wont cut it for as many people. You call it "less forced" others call it stiff and boring. Hf is more about art not just looking a kind of way. Thats why models who aren't as good looking as her are considered better models and nobody is taking someone like Gigi seriously neither. Just like they didn't adriana. if anything he should stick to these modelling skills. its whats going to save her when she leaves VS. She can't keep modelling like she is with them. I like the cover because she still looks beautiful(which is why people still looking at it likes it a GQ cover lol. So many guys themselves are saying they want the cover/are reposting it) and I don't see it as "forced" but just a good shot. I like that there is more movement. Its the only way she is actually going to get more respect outside of commercial. Because honestly, anybody model can look good on cover just because they are beautiful. Its exciting when there is more going on than just their beauty. And I also think the colors compliment her well

She really is a natural beauty. IDK why that one bad pic of her without makeup backstage at the 2007 VSFS exist LOL, I think she was sick. But then again we all take bad pics sometimes.

At the end there is that too but the reason it is said why she isn't cared for there can also be the reason why she rarely worked in brazil. They say its racial issue brazil has. And after studying how racism is constructed it does makes sense seeing how not only has adriana not worked there much but she also isn't marketed there that much. In the end the media of a country controls what is exposed to their people and what is not and that leads to perceptions. And I talked to two people from brazil who are bigger gisele fans and from their POV adriana has never done anything for brazil. This was post the IWC event and that orphanage story that pretty much every adriana fan knows about. The people aren't aware she is doing these things to help with brazil and stuff but they are aware when others are doing it. And its funny how Adriana is more popular than all the other brazilians with exception of gisele, outside of brazil but not in brazil. And she is also the only one that isn't white pretty much and was known for the longest for self identifying as afro brazilian and in the start of her career it was more obvious I mean there could be some other reason, it could be her lack of work there. But the fact that people over there are under the impression she never even done any charities there is suspect and she is now getting more work and known there these days but its been years since she talked about who she is racially

The things people didn't like about the campaign had to do with things not her fault but there was no denying that she looked good. And alot of fans were happy with the collab and as always say they want to buy it because of her I think it also is getting alot of attention because its been so long since she did a fragrance that wasn't VS. It really is another nice touch on her career. I really hope in the future we get more different but great work about her Like she needs a hair ad. I think thats the only thing she hasn't did now.

Her hair and makeup was very different in the picture taken with marc but they could have been before she actually took the pictures. But didn't they mention something about her being barely clothed......?

If they aren't going to provide the dress and makeup for her, I won't mind her skipping it lol
